Set directly opposite the beach in Hill Head, Hampshire, this characterful five-bedroom cottage has been fully renovated to a sleek, contemporary standard. The upside-down layout places the kitchen and living spaces on the first floor to maximise panoramic views across the Solent and Isle of Wight. The beach is two minutes away via a slipway across the road, and parking for up to four vehicles is included on site. Long-term stays are accepted and cleaning can be arranged during extended visits.

The first floor draws everyone together around the kitchen and living room, with wide windows and a balcony framing constant Solent views. Binoculars are provided to enjoy the wildlife and passing cruise liners. Outside, the private outdoor bar beneath the timber pergola is perfect for summer evenings, while a separate patio with dining furniture, a fire pit, and a generous lawn with mature fruit trees complete an outstanding outdoor space.

The living room opens onto a balcony with Solent views and is furnished with two three-seater sofas (one a sofabed), TV, sound system, and armchair. Room-darkening shades and extra pillows and blankets are provided. The kitchen features dark grey units, wide worktops, wall-mounted TV, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, cooking basics, dishes, silverware, baking sheet, toaster, kettle, and wine glasses. The dining table seats eight, up to ten with extra chairs. The family bathroom includes a bathtub, walk-in shower, and heated towel rail.
Ground floor
Five bedrooms, a shower room, and entrance hallway with wall hooks and radiator.

• Master bedroom — king bed with private ensuite shower room
• Bedroom two — double bed with patio door access to the garden
• Bedroom three — double bed, wardrobe, desk and dressing area

Hill Head is a quiet coastal village on the Solent with uninterrupted Isle of Wight views. The beach is directly opposite via a slipway. The Osbourne View pub-restaurant and Breezes Café are both very close by. Titchfield Haven National Nature Reserve is ten minutes on foot — an internationally recognised birdwatching site. The coastline is popular with kite surfers. Lee-on-the-Solent, with its seafront cafés and the International Hovercraft Museum, is eight minutes by car. Portsmouth and Southampton are easily reachable for city amenities, historic attractions, and ferry connections to the Isle of Wight. A local bus service runs approximately every twenty minutes to Lee-on-the-Solent and Fareham.

Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before arrival. Fifty percent refund if cancelled fourteen to thirty days before arrival. No refund if cancelled within fourteen days of arrival.
