The cottage is ideal for 2. The host has carefully thought about their guests' comfort and installed/provided many things that many other properties don't, eg:- black out blinds in bedroom- generous amounts of coffee, bread, milk- a house manual full of useful stuff Old Windsor is about 5mins drive from Windsor itself, you need a car. We recommend!

We lived in this home for 15 years and host this home as a calm, well-equipped space for short breaks, relocations and work stays. I enjoy creating a place that feels genuinely comfortable home away from home rather than just “set up” for guests. Hosting gives me the chance to share a property I’ve put a lot of care into, while helping guests have an easy, enjoyable stay in the area.

Why they chose this property

Tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, the setting is peaceful and private, with a sunny south-facing garden to relax in. The area is ideal for slow mornings, walks and easy day trips. You’re close to Windsor Great Park, The Long Walk and the Thames Path, with plenty of green space and riverside routes. I particularly enjoy how everything feels close by, whether it’s a walk into Windsor, a visit to the Royal Farm Shop, or just unwinding in the garden after a day out.

It’s a full two-storey home with your own driveway and a private south-facing garden, set quietly at the end of a cul-de-sac. Guests often say it feels more like a home away from home.
