Perfect Family Home, walk or bike to town

The guest suite is not included with the main house (and is not rented separately), but can be added to a rental for a nominal additional fee and will sleep 2 adults and 1-2 children. Total occupancy, including the guest suite is 10 people. Maximum occupancy in the main house is 8 people, but max of 4-6 adults.

This 3-4 bedroom house is set on a large grassy lot within walking distance to Edgartown shops and restaurants. New furniture, updated outdoor space, and updated kitchen in 2020. With a large and comfortable outdoor living space, a great kids room, and an upstairs alcove sitting area with sofa bed (in addition the large master and second guest room with a queen bed), this house will comfortably fit 2 couples with children or an extended family. Adding the guest suite gives ample room for 6 adults. The open floorplan features kitchen, dining room, and living room, all with plenty of seating. There is a large front and side yard with space to play or lounge in the hammock as well as a back porch and patio for seating and outdoor grilling and dining.

Fantastic property

We were a group of two families, with five kids under the age of five. The house had more than enough room for us all and is in a great location, within walking distance to groceries, restaurants and downtown Edgartown. Large fenced in yard was perfect for the kids running around. Would absolutely stay here again.

Incredible house close to Edgartown downtown

We had the best time staying at this house! It’s one of the nicest and most well-stocked short term rentals we have booked. The house was spotless, quiet, and extremely comfortable. It’s an easy walk or bike to downtown Edgartown, and very close to Bad Martha’s, which was a lot of fun. The hosts were also extremely gracious and flexible when our travel plans changed and we wanted to stay longer at the last minute. We can’t wait to stay again!

Wonderful Stay

The home was clean, beautiful and a perfect location for our family. It slept us all comfortably and communication with the home owner/property manager was prompt every time. We were able to walk into Edgartown, ride bikes in all directions and be at the beach within 10 minutes. Thank you so much! We will be back!

Wedding Weekend Success

We booked this house for our best friend's wedding in Edgartown and it was the perfect spot! Three cars were able to fit in the driveway, the liquor store and Stop & Shop were walking distance. We were less than a 5 minute drive to downtown Edgartown, and the homeowners let us into the house early Thursday so that we could make it to the rehearsal on time. This house was perfect for a wedding weekend retreat.

Beautiful home

Highly recommend this lovely home. Very nice neighborhood set off just enough from the main roads, with a nice big yard and outdoor living space. Inside everyone was very comfortable. Our friends enjoyed coming together, plenty of space to relax and enjoy! Very nice and new appliances in kitchen and bath. Owners were great, very easy to work with... hope to return again someday! Thank you.

Weekend on Martha's Vineyard

The location was great - in a small neighborhood, but walking distance to shopping and downtown Edgartown. When we arrived we did not have hot water in the main house, but the owner responded quickly and the caretaker arrived the following morning . Our family enjoyed being able to spend time together in such a comfortable house. Each couple could get away into their own space, as well as socializing in the open common areas. We had a very special weekend.

Great house near Main St.

I really enjoyed staying at this house. It was the perfect setup for our family of 3 adults and 4 children. The two separate areas for lounging meant that we only had to yell for our kids to turn that racket down as opposed to being in the middle of the racket. My only issue and it was certainly mine alone was that the laundry was a bit cluttered for the half bath area. I do a ton of laundry and it would have been nice if it was in a separate (less trafficked area).

Edgartown vaca rental

We came in town for a wedding and created a family reunion. We loved Martha's Vineyard and Edgartown. We were about a 20-25 walk from the heart of town. Restaurants nearby and great shopping . My husband and son-in-law went fishing. We had our baby grandson with us and he loved the parks, library, stroller rides and the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and perfect for our family reunion. The follow up from the owner was exceptional. Quiet neighborhood. September is the time to go!! Perfect weather. Loved the ferry ride over. I would love to come back & stay here....

Nice home short walk from Stop&Shop and Edgartown

We liked the home which had plenty of room for our family of 4 and we were happy with our choice to stay here. Unfortunately, VRBO has a ratings system where anything less than 5* hurts the property owner making it difficult to rate more subtle levels of quality (true luxury from this very nice home). The home was nicely equipped with a coffee and expresso maker and pods. The kitchen was nicely stocked with basic supplies and tableware/cooking tools. There were plenty of beach toys and other play things. The common areas were nice, but the TV was difficult to operate. There was a Comcast box but it was not clear we were using it. We had trouble operating the heating/AC system. It turns out there are different controls for the AC and heat both of which the property owner monitors. She helped correct our issue but the system was not easy to figure out. The bathrooms are nice, but not top-of-the line quality. The only significant issue we had was that there was only one nice quality bed upstairs for our 2 young adult children. The sleeper couch upstairs was all springs. My kids did not want to sleep in the bunk beds which would have been fine for younger children. The home owner was very responsive to questions and a pleasure to work with.

Great house!

Plenty of room to spread out with your group. The backyard is excellent for entertaining with plenty of seating and a grill. Plus it is within walking distance of downtown. I would highly recommend staying. here.

We love the big yard and proximity to town. We are on a quiet side road with friendly neighbors.

The house is perfectly set up for 1-2 families to spend time together. In addition to the bunk room upstairs, we have 2 living areas (upstairs and down) as well as lots of outdoor living options and a ping pong table in the garage.
