This was a perfect stay for me while staying at a horse show locally. The bed and bedding was so comfortable! The shower water was so hot! There is a kurig with all the fixings and a small refrigerator. I slept peacefully with the sounds of frogs on the pond. I would gladly stay here again!
This cozy cottage is the best location of any place in the Paso Robles/San Miguel area. It’s so quiet….all you hear are the frogs at night. It gets very chilly at night, so take a heavy jacket….but, the sky, when it’s clear, is full of so many stars and constellations. Just as a side note, there is no television in the room, but if you bring your devices, the internet is excellent. We have stayed there several times before and will stay again.
When looking at the property online, it was described as a cottage. I was expecting maybe a small living room, a bathroom, and a bedroom. I did not want to rent a studio because my friend and I can't share a room to sleep. This was no more than a studio at all.
Ed and Paula’s place was perfect for my wife and I to enjoy the beautiful Paso area.
We talked with Ed on a few occasions, he’s a super nice guy and gave lots of great suggestions on places to go.
A close and good place for breakfast was Joe’s Diner at the airport, it’s only a mile or so down the road, great food for a good price.
The place is all we needed: a place to sleep, a place to shower, had a fridge and microwave and a Keurig for morning coffee….plus there are vineyards right there on property as you drive through.
We’d stay here again if it’s just the two of us coming back to Paso.
Thanks Ed and Paula!
Amazing Hosts that show they care! Wonderful and serene property that is taken great care of! While there , you feel like you’re so far away from it all…. But when you’re done recharging …. Fun is just minutes away! Can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay and plan to make this my go to spot whenever I am in Paso! Thanks again Ed! You all were absolutely amazing! Definitely an absolutely amazing hidden Gem ….
I was in Paso Robles for a wedding. The Cozy Cottage was simply that...cozy! I didn't spend much time there, but after long days setting up for a wedding and then the wedding day, it was so nice to be able to lay my head down somewhere clean, quiet, and safe!
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to meet the owners but if I'm ever in the area again, I would absolutely stay there again!
What better way to experience Paso Robles than to stay in a private cottage on the property of rolling vineyards. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Bathroom amenities were appreciated. Check-in and communication with the host was via text and seamless.

The property owners were wonderful to work with and available to answer questions about what to do in the area. It was beautiful to be amongst the vineyards.
Perfect little space for an overnight trip. Perfect location for wine tasting as there are a few wineries very close by. It's a little difficult to find the house in the evening so just drive slow and stay to the right at the fork in the road (otherwise you'll end up in someone else's driveway - don't ask me how I know). There is a small pond, a couple chickens and horses, a lot of rabbits ad squirrels adn the vineyards are beautiful. This room has no television which makes this property an A++++++ in my book.

Ed and Paula were very nice, and helpful. The room was cozy and clean. If you want a TV their isn't one, but we didn't stay there to watch TV.
We will stay there again next year
We had a wonderful time! Ed was waiting for us to see if we need it any help. The cottage is super comfortable and we love visiting the chickens, the horses, and the kittens. See you again in the near future!
