Please note: There are sloping banks in parts of the grounds.. Situated in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife, with panoramic views over the Firth of Forth, Selkirk Lodge is one of the five newly built lodges situated within Homelands, a charitable trust providing accessible self-catering accommodation. The lodge has been purpose built for people with disabilities, long term health conditions and life limiting illnesses, consequently a wealth of features have been incorporated into the designs to ensure they are accessible.

Selkirk Lodge has free Superfast Wi-Fi with sleeping up to six people. Offering open plan living with a spacious kitchen, dining, and living area. Finished to a high standard and the perfect place to come and relax. Patio doors open off the living area onto the garden. On the ground floor you will find a twin bedroom which has an Invacare Medley Ergo electric profiling bed with Invacare Softform Premier Active 2 airflow mattress plus Guldmann H-frame ceiling tracking hoist, a utility room, a wet room featuring showering area with Guldmann H-frame ceiling tracking hoist plus a separate toilet with wash hand basin are also housed on the ground floor. In addition to the fixed equipment there are a wide range of portable specialist equipment available free of charge, but must be booked as soon as possible prior to arrival. Please contact Homelands to add specialist equipment to your stay so that availability can be confirmed, including a shower trolley, portable hoist, Freeway shower chair/commode (assisted/unassisted), Oxford electric stand aid and assisted or manual wheelchairs.

On the first floor where you will find two bedrooms, the spacious main room set as a double/twin bedroom and the second naturally set as a twin room. The first floor bathroom features a bath where you can lie back and relax while enjoying a well earned rest and a separate shower cubicle. Outside there is a lovely lawned garden with patio and garden furniture.

The East Neuk of Fife is the home of golf, and features beautiful rolling countryside complimented by a rugged coastline and picturesque fishing villages. Fife is famed for its fresh produce particularly seafood and they are proud to boast 3, 1 star Michelin restaurants in the East Neuk as well as numerous other fantastic dining experiences including award-winning fish and chips. Lundin Links itself is a small friendly village which features a bar/restaurant, a small parade of shops and various sporting activities, including sea fishing (licence required), all within a short walk from Homelands. Beach 100 yards. Shop 250 yards, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

We do not provide slings for any of the hoists we provide, therefore clients must bring their own (our hoists require looped slings). In addition we do not provide training on use of our hoists therefore ask that anyone wishing to use the hoists is familiar with them on their operation.
