Summary:

The classic Nyhavn property built in half-timbering style has almost 400 years of history. If only the walls could talk you would hear stories of how sailors came ashore, got drunk, got tattoos and wooed local girls right here in this charming courtyard. On the first floor we recently restored this massive 4 bedroom canalside apartment with modern features but all the historic details kept in place. Get ready for a luxurious experience through time.



The Space:

A TOUR OF THE APARTMENT

Upon entering, you are welcomed into a refined entrance, a calm and elegant transition into the residence..

To the right, a beautifully newly designed full bathroom with a spacious shower and high standard finishes throughout.

Next to the bathroom a thoughtfully designed and fully equipped kitchen. Though intimate in size, it is efficiently arranged and fully stocked with quality cookware, glassware, and tableware, perfectly suited for preparing anything from a relaxed breakfast to a sunday family dinner.

Continuing further, you arrive at the impressive dining room. A grand dining table comfortably seats up to 10 guests, creating a refined and inviting setting for shared dinners or breakfast before heading out to explore. Generous wardrobe and storage solutions are thoughtfully integrated here.

Beyond the dining area lies the huge living room - a sophisticated retreat designed for social gatherings. Plush lounge seating creates a warm and elegant atmosphere, while the Smart TV with Netflix provides effortless entertainment for cosy evenings at home.

From the living room, all bedrooms are easliy accessible, offering a practical and well-balanced layout ideal for groups travelling together.

The spacious master bedroom features two kingsize beds arranged to provide both openness and flexibility.

Two additional bedrooms each offer kingsize beds that can split into singles if preferred.

The last bedroom has beautiful canalviews. All bedrooms has antiallergenic pillow selection and crisp hotel duvets.

A secondary bathroom (without shower) adds further convenience — particularly appreciated when hosting larger groups.

In total, the apartment comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests and offers a dining setting for the same number, making it perfectly suited for larger families or refined group stays seeking generous space, comfort, and understated luxury throughout their time in the city.



The Neighborhood:

Nyhavn (New Harbour) is the most famous landmark of our city. With its picturesque wooden sailing ships along the canal filled with restaurants and hangout spots this is as charming as it gets. And with the penthouse situated in a historic courtyard behind it all you still get the feeling of living like a local. The new “kissing bridge” across the main canal connects the area to Christianshavn and Christiania in a short walk.



Getting Around:

The metro stops at Kongens Nytorv which is at the other end of Nyhavn, 7 minutes walking away. From there the airport is a 13 min. train ride.
