BrÀnnö is a car-free island with frequent ferry traffic to the entertainment city of Gothenburg. Here you live with the sea around the corner and can start the day with a refreshing dip in the salty waves. Afterwards, you sit down on one of the sunny terraces and enjoy a lovely breakfast with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. A better start to the day is hard to imagine! The villa has an open plan with lots of light and space. It is carefully maintained and tastefully decorated, with a sunny and partially protected location on the southern side of BrÀnnö. There is a large, lovely garden with a lawn for playing and games, a trampoline for the children, wonderful terraces with sun all day and plenty of social areas. Two guest cottages with two beds each, one of which has its own fresh bathroom, kitchenette and patio. Perfect for couples or teenagers who want to live a little to themselves. The entrance floor consists of three bright bedrooms, two of which have a double bed and one has a "family bed" with a 120 cm wide lower bed and 80 cm wide upper bed. A folding baby bed is available. Tiled bathroom with shower and toilet and extra toilet. Bright kitchen with dining area and access to the terrace. Adjacent to the kitchen is a laundry room. Between the hall and the kitchen is the beautiful dining room with a large table and space for ten people to sit. Half a flight of stairs up is a living room with a sofa and armchairs and access to the upper terrace where you can glimpse the sea. The upper floor is reached via stairs and here is another living room/family room. BrÀnnö is a lively archipelago island in the southern part of the Gothenburg archipelago with around 900 permanent residents. The island differs from the other islands in the archipelago with its history of agriculture, pilots and customs officers and shipping, which has been the main source of livelihood. Song composer Lasse Dahlqvist has made the island famous through his songs. The classic dance on BrÀnnö pier is a summer tradition on BrÀnnö, usually arranged on Thursdays from midsummer to mid-August with a dance band and old-fashioned dance. You can walk there in about 15 minutes. From the mountain by the old pilot lookout, at the highest point of the island, you have a view from Vinga to the entrance to Gothenburg. The island is car-free, but there are taxis that you can order to transport you and your luggage smoothly to your cottage. There are also bicycles for rent near the house. A couple of bicycles are also available to borrow. The island has everything you need! Shop with post office, restaurant, café and church. There are also plenty of places to swim. About 300m from the house you can take a morning dip (Sandvik). There is a child-friendly swimming area in Ramsdal with both sandy beach, cliffs and a pier about 500 m from the house. At BrÀnnö VÀrdshus you can eat and drink well. The VÀrdshuset also arranges musical performances at various times during the summer. From BrÀnnö via an old stone bridge you can hike over to the fantastic Galterö. nature reserve since 2015. Here there is a rich birdlife and a lovely nature with freely roaming sheep which are part of the sheep farming and the local cultural heritage on BrÀnnö. There is a popular marked loop of about 2.5 km that takes you through pastures, cliffs and past sandy beaches in the nature reserve. Barbecue areas are also available for use by visitors.
