A quirky and fun home all on the ground floor . Set on an acre plot boasting a huge garden complete with firepit for roasting marshmallows under the stars. Views over the fields where the alpacas are grazing. Spacious inside with two double bedrooms with king size beds, one bedroom with bunk beds and one smaller bedroom with two small single beds. Gaming area for the kids, dining area seating 8 people and well equipped kitchen. Peaceful location on a working Alpaca farm. Huge amount of space for guests to explore the farm and even hand feed the Alpacas. Rural farm location.
Dartmoor Reach is just a 10-minute drive from the stunning Dartmoor National Park, offering a unique and quirky experience with the chance to hand-feed alpacas every day. This expansive space is home to twelve alpacas, thirty hens, ducks, and a couple of pigs. The bungalow is positioned so you have privacy on an acre plot with a huge garden .Fully equipped with cutlery, plates, pots, and pans; linen and towels can be hired if needed. The bungalow has a private deck with a picnic bench and fire pit. Logs are available for purchase . As a working farm, guests can expect to see alpacas , hens pecking around the fields, and pigs rooting in the mud. Children can enjoy play areas featuring a mud kitchen, wendy house, slide, and rope swing. Hosts Josh and Natalie live on-site and are happy to assist with any guest needs. Located on the edge of Dartmoor, the nearest Tor is Haytor, just ten minutes away by car. There are plenty of scenic walks nearby, including one to our award-winning local pub, The Claycutters Arms, South Hams Beaches close by.
