This quaint cottage is near everything Old Monterey has to offer! With lovely hardwood floors, a cozy family room, an eat in kitchen, a separate laundry room, and three comfortable bedrooms all with queen sized beds with premium mattresses and linens. The main bedroom has an attached bathroom with a shower over tub, antique pine dresser and long bench, and a walk in closet. The second and third bedrooms both have 6 foot closets and dressers.
In addition, there is a small hall bathroom with a shower next to the third bedroom. The kitchen has solid granite counters, a Shaw fireclay farm sink, dishwasher, gas stove and all the basic equipment necessary for cooking and baking. The kitchen also opens to a lovely brick deck with comfortable patio seating in order to relax with a cup of coffee or wine. There is a large fenced in back yard with a patio table and seating and an electric BBQ, as well as a smaller fenced in front yard. The driveway is large for off street parking and can fit up to three cars if needed. Beach items, chairs, beach toys and towels are available as well as coolers for picnics. Walk just a few minutes to Del Monte Beach, Dennis the Menace playground, baseball, skateboard park and pedal boats, or along the coastal rec trail for a run, walk, or bike. A 10 minute walk to the closest tennis courts or to the Monterey Sports Center for an indoor swim/work out/basketball or just a sauna. Del Monte beach rents kayaks and SUP, as well as bikes. The Historic Fishermans" Wharf or downtown Alvarado Street is a short beautiful walk, and every Tuesday night, Alvarado closes to traffic for a wonderful Farmer's Market with food trucks, music, and open pubs along the way. Trader Joe's, museums, the Del Monte Shopping center, Whole Foods and Cinemark theaters, are all very close as are many restaurants and so much more. Drive about 10 minutes, and you are at Cannery Row, the world class Monterey Bay Aquarium, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach. The Monterey Peninsula is a Golfer's heaven, having 19 of the most beautiful and challenging courses in the world. A little farther out is the Laguna Seca Raceway, Carmel Valley and all the wineries, as well as my favorite state park, Point Lobos, and stunning Big Sur!
This cottage is close to everything this historic and natural gem of an area has to offer.
Absolutely no smoking in or on the property, no loud parties, no events hosted on premises, no subletting, no drugs allowed. This is a family neighborhood. Thank you!
