Wonderful stay in Pacific Grove! The home is lovely and located on a quiet but very convenient street, walkable to shops, restaurants, the beach and charming parks. Easy 1.5 mile walk into Monterey. Very comfortable and charming. Parking space was a huge bonus!

Amazing stay in Pacific Grove

This home was absolutely beautiful. It was nestled on a small quiet street with a five minute walk to the beach one way and a five minute walk to cafes and restaurants the other way. The home was comfortable with a great outdoor area as well a a rooftop outlook to the ocean!

Wedding Weekend with Family

We stayed for a wedding weekend in October. The house was beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. There were enough bedrooms to accommodate our group and plenty of room for everyone to relax and for the kids to play. The kitchen was well stocked and had nice upgraded appliances. We would love to book in the future! Thank you for having us!

We love this property!! We have been coming to this property for many years and we just can't get enough!! The location is perfect and the house is just as advertised. Our group is a family so our ages range from 7 to over 70!!

Great location just 1 1/2 blocks from the bay and downtown. House accommodations, hot tub, sauna and multiple fireplaces were welcome. Definitely will recommend to friends. Thank you making this a turnkey trip!

Great location

Enjoyed our stay in September, the location is perfect to walk to the beach or restaurants. The house is also very well equipped with everything you would need. I agree with some other reviewers though that the master bedroom needs curtains or blinds and it is noisy as there is no door to that room. I'd also say that a room that size should have a king sized bed but that is our preference.

Great Location & Communicative Host

There are pros and cons to this property:It is in a great location to walk to the beach or to restaurant, responsive manager and owner when issues arose, made an exception which was greatly appreciated, 2 fireplaces indoors, outdoor fireplace and hot tub were amazing, well stocked kitchen for cooking. Listing did not mention that the primary bedroom on the top floor did not have a door. Not private and sound carried into the room from the living spaces. Rooms were pretty bright for light sensitive sleepers, room darkening shades in the primary and back bedroom on the main would be ideal.

All that it promised

This property is heavenly. Although it was located right by the beach, it was hard to leave because there were so many amenities---BBQ, jacuzzi, balconies, steam showers, etc.. Only drawback was that communication with the owner was a bit spotty.

Perfect house for wedding week!

We had a fantastic week on the peninsula! We were in town from the East Coast for my daughter's wedding. Location was great and we served as "home base" for my children and visiting friends. Hot tub was a great feature. The driveway is a bit tight for the large SUV rental I had, but my husband was able to back in. (I didn't dare and parked on the street, some times on Lighthouse Ave. ) I would definitely recommend this house and hope to return at some point.

Gem that is between Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea

Lovely home in Pacific Grove. Quiet and comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews, Parking could be challenging if you have a large vehicle like an SUV. We were thankful to have the guaranteed parking spot. The kitchen is so well equipped! The upstairs bedroom (master) also has a Keurig just like the kitchen. There is a regular coffee maker but it didn't look as clean as we'd like. The bathrooms also have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Body lotion would have been nice but I'm being picky. The outdoor areas were fantastic but we just wished there were 3-4 chairs on the rooftop deck (there were only 2) and that there would have been 3-4 comfy chairs around the outdoor fireplace. Yes, there is tons of seating outside but nothing we could easily use in FRONT of the fireplace. We would bring a foldup chair outback and use a pillow for padding. We weren't ever able to get the whole-home system to work with our phones (both iPhone and Android) as directed and that truly was a nice to have, not a deal breaker. Also, there is a guest book near the front door that was great to gain insight from BUT the book is full and we wanted to add our insight; oh well. Again a great place and I'd recommend it to others.

We loved everything at our stay in pacific grove!So easy to walk to lovers point and up the street was coffee& restaurants. Pack and play was on site and we even got to check in early thanks to the house managers communication. Only rec would be to put kid safety covers over the electrical outlets. (Minor issue) other then that we had an amazing time!

The Pacific Grove house was a highlight of our trip to the Monterey Peninsula!! What a lovely, clean, bright, well-appointed home. So cozy and welcoming with so many restaurants, shops, parks, and views right out the front door! Oh yes, also the rooftop deck is such a great spot to take a few minutes to take in all the beautiful scenery PG has to offer. Would definitely stay here again!
