You’ll also find a main-level bedroom with a comfortable queen-size bed. Upstairs, an oversized loft offers sweeping lake views year-round, from brilliant fall foliage to peaceful frozen-lake scenes. Cozy up in the plush king bed or curl up in the reading nook after a day of snowshoeing or sledding. There are two futons—perfect for additional sleeping space or lounging. With plenty of storage and room to spread out, it’s an ideal spot for relaxing or sleeping. The lower level features a bunk room with twin beds, another queen-sized bed, second full bath, full laundry, and a comfy family room with a gas fireplace—ideal for movie nights or a kid-friendly retreat.

Outside, the lakeside experience is unbeatable. Your stay includes two private docks, two firepits with plenty of cut wood (including one just steps from the water), and a paved driveway that’s perfect for kids to bike and play or perfect their artwork with sidewalk chalk. Enjoy endless activities with 2 stand-up paddleboards, a canoe, a kayak, and a paddleboat—all available for your use. Beach toys, a hammock, and ample yard games like bean bag toss are all available for your enjoyment, making it easy to relax and have fun right on the property. When the snow falls, the fun continues—build snowmen on the lawn, roast marshmallows over the lakeside firepit, or stargaze under a clear winter sky. The property’s flat yard and paved driveway make it easy for kids to sled or play safely.

Kimble Lake is a 197-acre spring-fed lake known for its exceptional clarity and peaceful atmosphere. There’s a beautiful sandbar straight out from our property, perfect for anchoring, swimming, and relaxing in the shallows. Some natural aquatic plants near the shoreline are DNR protected, helping preserve the pristine environment.

As night falls, gather around the firepit for stories under the stars, or simply look up—our north-facing shoreline often rewards guests with glimpses of the Northern Lights when conditions are right. On crisp winter nights, the frozen lake sparkles beneath the moonlight for an unforgettable Minnesota experience.
