I use VRBO a LOT for business and personal travel. Communication with my host seemed normal and when I tried to check in, the property did not have my reservation. I gave them to reservation code from my confirmation email and the person checking me in said she has never heard of VRBO as an agent for their property and the confirmation code did not look like their codes usually look. Lucky for me, they had one apartment still available for my dates and booked me quickly and efficiently into that apartment. The space itself did look EXACTLY like the photos, but I gave it a poor rating because the kitchen had zero accessories. Not a coffee cup, plate, fork or dish of any kind. It was odd! Over all, the property was clean and the neighborhood was acceptable. Out of self protection, I ended up canceling my credit card. Would I stay there again? Probably not, but only because I actually use the kitchen when I travel and bare cupboards do me no good.

Ich war aufgrund der vielen negativen Bewertungen zunächst skeptisch, hier zu buchen, bin aber so froh, dass ich es gewagt habe! Das Gebäude und die Flure könnten zwar eine kleine Renovierung vertragen, aber unser Zimmer war fantastisch! Vor allem für den Preis – es war sauber, hell, geräumig und unglaublich komfortabel. Das Personal war außerdem sehr freundlich. Nur zur Info: Es gibt kein Frühstück und keinen Aufzug, und für die Anmietung von Kochutensilien wird eine zusätzliche Gebühr erhoben. Es stehen aber ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung!

Es war nett, ein typisches Hotelerlebnis – nichts auszusetzen, nichts Außergewöhnliches. Die Klimaanlage war ausgezeichnet. Einziger Nachteil: Das Frühstück war recht spartanisch, nur Kaffee und heißes Wasser für Haferflocken und heiße Schokolade. Insgesamt würde ich aber 8 von 10 Punkten vergeben.
