Town: Mow Cop is a small village split right between Staffordshire and Cheshire meaning it is divided between the North West and West Midlands areas. The most prominent feature of the village is the ruined Mow Cop Castle which lies at the summit of the village. Built in 1754 and steeped in rich history both the castle and Old Man O'Mow are now under the management of the National Trust.
