I am very sorry you did not enjoy your stay at my place. I am even more sorry that you would feel compelled to write such a libelous review. The place is dark: yes it is a little dark, this is the way these condos have been conceived, the balcony of the second floor overhangs on your patio, plus there is a lot of shade due to the trees surrounding the buildings, plus the flat is oriented to the west. Place is moldy and smells: this is the very first time I get this complaint! If you read my reviews, you’ll see that my guests praise the cleanliness of the place. There is NO mold in this flat and it does not smell bad. Not able to park in front of the building: never have I told you that there was parking in front. What I say in my description on VRBO is that you have an allocated carport that is close to the building and that you can park in any spot on the site as long as it is not marked with a number. Nobody picks up the phone: for somebody to pick up the phone, you have to dial the number first! If you did try to phone me, you could have left a voicemail, or contacted me through VRBO’s site, which you did when you asked me if you could check out late! I make a point when my renters leave a voicemail to call back very quickly. As a matter of fact, if you had complained at the right time about the above described problems, I would have been happy to find a solution, provided that there was a problem to begin with!

Thanks for the review. I would just like to comment on some points : Leaky dishwasher : I had my handyman check it and he did not find anything. It must have been a temporary issue. Noisy ceiling fan : this issue was easily remedied by tightening some screws. There is definitely a (working) icemaker ; it just so happens that the lever that triggers the ice making was off. Had I heen made aware of these issues, I would have addressed them immediately as I usually do when my renters bring up a problem. The ants were a very temporary problem in the whole area due to the extreme heat wave we had been experiencing. The « toaster oven » is large enough to bake 2 large pizzas or roast a family size chicken.
