The bedrooms consist of a king-size and a twin (zip/link, can be super-king-size on request), along with a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed front garden patio with furniture and off-road parking for 2 cars. Within 2.9 miles, you will find a shop, and within 0.1 mile, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Sorry, no pets. Enjoy a memorable trip away at Petal Cottage. Note: Wheelchair accessible. Note: Laundry services are available at an additional cost.



The Neighborhood:

Laxfield is about half-way between the Suffolk market towns of Halesworth and Framlingham, just 40 minutes' drive from the coast at Southwold or Aldeburgh. Just off the main road, called The Street, lies the school and pre-school, the village hall and the Baptist chapel. In the centre, near the wonderful All Saints Church and the historic Guildhall are a thriving modern Co-op store and two charming pubs. Close by, Halesworth is full of character, with old buildings, a weekly market held on a Wednesday and a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. The beautiful Suffolk Heritage Coastline features unspoilt heathlands and the RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve, whilst the delightful coastal towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh are all within a short drive. With the cities of Ipswich and Norwich both within touring distance, Halesworth is an ideal location from which to discover Suffolk.
