The property sleeps sixteen people in seven bedrooms, six with en-suites, which are a super king-size and a twin room, both of which have an additional day bed, two king-size doubles, a twin and two family rooms, one with a king-size double and a single and the other with three singles. There is also a cloakroom, a bathroom, an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a woodburner and there is a second sitting room. Outside is a lawned garden with a patio, ample off road parking and an external leisure suite with a hot tub, sauna, yoga and pilates studio and a games room. Jacob's Lodge is a fantastic property with something for everybody. Please note there are no EV charging facilities at this property



The Neighborhood:

The small village of Eggleston is situated in the heart of beautiful Teesdale, between Middleton-in-Teesdale and the market town of Barnard Castle. Eggleston itself consists of a cluster of stone houses, a few farm dwellings and a local pub. Beautiful walking country is right on the doorstep, with the Pennine and Teesdale Ways, the River Tees and magnificent waterfalls at High Force all close by. Middleton-in-Teesdale lies in the heart of Teesdale, in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', and offers a good range of shops, pubs and places to eat.
