Beautiful cottage, great hosts
The Stone Byre is set in a fantastic location, with great views and still accessible from Barnard Castle. The cottage itself is really well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Val and Rob are excellent hosts, we brought our 16 month old little boy and they could not have been more thoughtful- setting up stair gates, high chair, cot. Would definitely recommend a stay here, even if it means it will be more difficult for us to find a space in their calendar for us to come again!
