I booked this property as my family was coming to town for my baby shower (total 25 people invited but 5 people staying in the house) and it was the best thing I could’ve done. The bedrooms were spacious and the open areas are bigger in person than what the photos show. The backyard was great for the kids to play and it’s fenced in, so no worries there. With the rodeo themed baby shower, we had a lot of grilled foods and there was a charcoal grill there as well. I say that because there was lots of counter space for everything. The host provided additional folding tables for us, which was greatly appreciated. The only downside was that the ac seemed to go out in the middle of the gathering so a lot of fans were having to be strategically placed. Also, we could not find a broom anywhere so we had to get creative with a mop that we found to clean up after the party was over. Other than the ac, the host made sure the grass was mowed for the kids to enjoy the yard in the back. Unfortunately, because the grass was cut the morning of the baby shower, the mosquitoes came out to celebrate as well. The host also stocked the freezer with extra ice and water in the fridge. We ended up leaving more water as well for the next group. All in all, the baby shower was a great success and it was so much less stressful than having to find a hotel for our family and a separate venue.
