I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Barndominium! The host was very responsive to my questions and made everything easy.The Barn had everything I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, large bathroom, very comfortable bed, and good Wi-Fi. There's also a desk in the living area if you need to work. The TV has Roku with lots of options, including Apple TV, Prime Video, and Netflix (using your own accounts).I especially loved the large back porch, which had plenty of room for my tripod and camera. I captured some beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and you can even see the Great Sand Dunes from the porch!The host also allowed me to park in the huge garage to load and unload my belongings, which was very much appreciated.There's a very sweet horse on the property who loves attention and pets. The location was convenient for the Great Sand Dunes via Lane 6 Road and about 30 minutes from Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuge. Be sure to check out the Spring Creek area within the refuge, where the Canadian geese hang out. Alamosa is also close by for groceries, restaurants, and fuel.The only thing I wished for was a lamp next to the bed, but that's minor.I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return again!
