Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Very disappointing and not as advertisedThis property did not live up to the photos or description. We booked it for four nights expecting the comfortable, upscale property shown online, but the reality was completely different.The apartment is a four-floor walk-up, which was not clear from the listing. The building and common areas look and feel like they are from the 1960s, and there is nothing luxurious about the property.There is no air conditioning on the second floor, where the bedrooms are located, making the bedrooms extremely uncomfortable during the summer. The apartment also has a strong humidity/musty smell, especially inside the closets, which made us uncomfortable keeping our belongings there.The property was so disappointing when we arrived that we checked in and checked out approximately 30 minutes later. We did not stay because the apartment was so different from what was represented in the listing.We contacted the host and requested a reimbursement, but the host refused. When we left, we also did not hear from the host for more than four hours, despite having immediately raised our concerns.Overall, this property is very different from the impression created by the photos and description. Had it been accurately represented, we would never have booked it.I would not recommend this property and strongly advise future guests to verify the actual condition, air conditioning, building access, and overall property before booking.
