Fontainebleau is known as a vibrant resort, where the well known BleauLive entertainment series takes place delivering shows and poolside events (additional cost) in addition to different conventions taking place hosted by the hotel. While Fontainebleau is the primary place to “see and be seen” in Miami, please take these events, the corresponding sound factor and its possible impact on your stay (i.e. volume of guests, reduced availability for restaurant reservations), into consideration when choosing your dates. It is solely the guest's responsibility to check the Hotel events calendar or reach out to the Hotel directly for details prior to booking. The host has no involvement in coordinating and organizing these events and is not to be held responsible for reduced access to amenities in relation to these events.

There was a bit of confusion between info from host and front desk. Some kitchen supplies were missing. No coffee cups, no wifi or ice instructions but nevertheless we enjoyed it.
Great property and very nice. The amenities are a plus. You really don't have to leave the resort because it offers great food, entertainment, shopping etc. beyond.
Fontainebleau was very nice and the history was interesting to walk through. The pool, spa, and fitness amenities were great! The restaurants were good, but I'd recommend getting off property to eat as much as possible. Miami has great food.
There was an overpowering smell of pot throughout the stay (even permeating into the rooms), but mostly in the mornings after whatever went on at the LIV was over. This particular suite needs a bit of attention as there were holes patched in the walls improperly and very obvious. There were also, what appeared to be, spit balls on the ceiling over the bed.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the resort, but might stay in a normal hotel room next time, as opposed to the owner's suites.

ROOM WAS ABSOLUTELY FILTHY
We had to hit the ground running due to our daughter's wedding, so I didn't have an opportunity to inspect our room upon arrival. As the first and second day went on, we started noticing so many issues that we couldn't help but contact the manager. They sent in a very nice man to help fix issues, but we were up to our ears in wedding events that we could not accommodate him being in our place doing all the repairs and cleaning needed. They offered to move us but it was impossible due to the way we had already spread out and started arranging flowers and gave our room number out for hair and makeup artists and guests and Instacart. The room should have been vaccumed and dusted and had the general repairs done before we even arrived. We visited friends in Tresor building and it was clean and stunning. They paid slightly less than us for a penthouse with the same amount of occupants and space. We were refunded some of our funds which was the only ammicable solution for the situation, but make sure you check your room upon arrival and that it is clean and vacuumed. The wear and tear in certain rooms in Sorento building is unacceptable.

Thank you Wendy for your feedback. Housekeeping services are strictly conducted by the hotel managed, hired and trained employees and every room is vacuumed and sanitized after each guest departure. Should anything be missed and reported by guest on day of arrival, the department is very prompt of addressing any concerns. We understand upon making a comparison with the rest of your group you realized the Tresor Tower listing was more to your liking and the lower pricing would have been more convenient. The listing is a private residence regularly maintained. Your feedback is appreciated and we continuously work on the listings maintenance.
Hello, I’m contacting regards to the owner’s units we stayed at in FountainBleu, room 406-407. I would just like to say that we had the worst experience staying here. First things first, we were treated horribly by a person of the name Johnny who was the manager of the units we stayed at. He entered our room not knowing we were already checked in, and I’ve expressed some things that we were not pleased with. The room was dirty, cabinet were broken, doorknob almost fell on my toe, the tv in one room was not working accurately, Ac in one of the bathrooms were broken. once I’ve expressed those concerns, the manager quickly responds by telling us “if you don’t like it, check out” he was rude and it made us very unhappy that we had to deal with that especially from someone who’s the manager. Secondly, the night before we were going to check out... we were harassed by two securities... they claimed that we were loud and playing loud music which we were not. They barged into our room without permission and threatened that if we do not quiet down, we would be charged for another room and would also have to pay for the persons room who complained. The security was a lady who said she was the higher up for security. Overall, this was an unpleasant experience at FountainBleu and we will never ever stay there again! Please contact me at your earliest convenience as I feel that this needs to be brought to your guys attention.

We had a very unfortunate experience hosting Catherine as a guest. From the onset of her arrival, she was disrespectful to the staff and to the property as well. All of our units are checked prior to a guest checking in to ensure that everything is in order. We had many guests stay in the unit prior to Catherine's arrival without any complaints. Catherine checked in before the check-in time when our service man was in the midst of checking the unit and was extremely rude to him. He noticed that she was taping things to the walls and he stated that this was against the rules of the property. When the tape is pulled off, it takes off the paint and the unit becomes damaged and then we would need to paint the whole wall. She immediately became defensive, and the maintenance manager asked her to kindly respect the property rules or choose to leave the property. Throughout her stay, the hotel received multiple complaints about her group which eventually resulted in the hotel security having to intervene due to noise complaint at 2 am. Apparently, her group was having a party, which is also against the rules of the property. Her group proceeded to have a confrontation with hotel security and left the suite with extensive damage on the walls, including holes. We have evidence and pictures of the damage, and a letter of complaint from the manager of the hotel regarding this guest. In addition, the hotel had to compensate neighboring suites for the disruption of this guest. We also had to keep the unit open for 2 days to clean up and repair the damages of this unit, which was costly to us. We host hundreds of guests who abide by the rules of the condo operations, who are considerate and respectful. This guest was not.
Booked these rooms to stay for my sister's bachelorette this past weekend. Place was AMAZING! The pools are beautiful, but they do close early. The rooms are big and included a full kitchen. We did call the front desk to let me them know the half bathroom toilet kept running, but nobody ever came to address it. There were two huge full bathrooms that worked perfectly. We were 9 girls in total and everyone had lots of space and slept comfortably. Would definitely stay here again. Loved loved loved the balconies as well! Had an awesome view of the pools and the ocean!
These connected rooms were absolutely perfect for my group of 8 girls. The rooms were spotless when we checked in and the hotel staff was amazing. We had the best time at our stay and would 100% book again!
Great stay at the Fontainebleau as always. The condo was perfect for me and 7 friends. It was clean and well appointed. Owner was super response, we will be back! The only thing it lacks is kitchen supplies.
Property exactly as described and more than spacious. The unit could have used more plates, silverware. Even though the resort has lots of amenities (restaurants, bars, fitness, pools) we still felt that Car rental was necessary. Valet service was tedious because the phone valet was not operational. I would stay here again thought would prefer something closer to SOBE (no fault of this unit).
We rented this as a two bedroom and it is really well situated for two couples and the layout works perfectly. The kitchen is very limited in kitchen supplies so if you are planning on cooking you will be limited. The resort that this is a part of has a great gym and spa. The people working at the resort were all friendly and provided great service.
Unit was not clean. Given current pandemic, had to assume not sanitary either. Door handle fell off as we walked into room. Missing light fixtures. Carpet was filthy. Old drapes rolled up on closet floor. Tile grout had build up in it. Thermostat did not work (could only turn on or off). Manager called and said they would clean the following day. No one cleaned.
Property has a great location. The beach and pools were beautiful. Service was very slow all weekend. Over 2 hours and food did not show. Had to cancel. If you had a nicer room, property would be a good choice.
We combined two rooms together to create a two bedroom condo with a living room and kitchen in the main area. It was a great setup for three of us to hang out, occasionally have friends over for drinks and overall feel like we were in the lap of luxury. All the services of staying in a hotel, and the property is extensive enough to have lots to do without leaving the grounds. But fair warning, you can’t walk to anywhere interesting. Other than the club LIV (awesome) in the lobby, all of South Beaches nightlife and party scene is an Uber drive away.
A great place to stay for an extended weekend. Will definitely return!
The rooms were clean and updated with a fabulous view of the pool area. You can hear the music from the pool bar, but it doesn’t play too late. Location is nice, slightly away from all the crowds from
The hotel. Also nice to have a private pool in the building.
