Villa Piccolo is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, (whole house) located in a quiet neighborhood on acreage and is one of seven properties the owner markets on this vacation rental site. It is a very clean, nicely furnished cottage, smoke/vape-free, pet/animal-free, central heating/air, with off-street parking, and is located 10 minutes from downtown Fairhope.

Property is conveniently located to all the main attractions of the Gulf Coast area. Only 20 minutes from Alabama's newest amusement park (OWA), and Tanger Shopping Mall. House is near the H. L. Sonny Callahan public use airport; just 5 minutes to salt and freshwater fishing, 8 minutes to Quail Creek golf course, 30 minutes to the sugar-white Gulf Shores beaches, 30 minutes to Mobile, Alabama and less than an hour to Pensacola, Florida. The property is boat friendly, and free public boat launches are readily available. Golfing, biking, hiking, tennis, salt and freshwater fishing, kayaking, and boating are all popular activities in Fairhope. Furnishings include 1 queen-size bed, full size appliances, over-the-stove microwave, and washer/dryer. Property also features free off-street parking, spacious covered patio with seating and secluded yard overlooking acreage.

If golf is on your list of things to do, there are many alluring golf courses close by to challenge your skills. For those who love to shop, there are the quaint shops in downtown Fairhope. Other attractions are the Alabama Coastal Birdfest (October), in the fall, Mardis Gras (before Lent), and the Arts and Crafts Festival (March), in the spring. It is a short drive to the casinos on the Gulf Coast (Mississippi/Alabama). Fairhope "town square" is a bay-front property with 1/4-mile pier extending over Mobile Bay, swimming, picnicking, landscaped rose garden, benches, restrooms, marina, restaurant, walking trails and duck pond are a part of it, and it is open 24 hours, and there are no fees. The sunsets are spectacular over the bay waters.

Great Place

We enjoyed our stay so much. It was just as pictured, clean, comfortable bed, no problems working the tv, ac worked great. It’s off the beaten path and Tessie is a very sweet hostess! We highly recommend this place. I think my husband would’ve stayed if he had had his recliner. Lol! We would definitely stay again!

Villa Piccolo

Excellent vacation home and great location in the countryside a short distance from local towns and areas of interest. The apartment was very well furnished and very clean. The owner Tessie was very friendly and helpful and showed great hospitality. We were free to come and go as we pleased without any interruptions during our stay. The vacation home was exactly as described and the furnishings were better than some places that I have stayed. You really feel at home here and can cook at home or do laundry with everything you need to get the job done. Highly recommended!

Best kept secret in Alabama

The Villa Piccolo was a wonderful place to spend my week. It was exactly like the information said it was. Tess, the hostess, was a great person. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the Fairhope community. The lack of cable TV or internet is bearly noticeable because of the amount of activity in the area. This is a great little place just on the edge of the hussle and bussle of town or the Bay and a quick drive to the gulf beaches. Really looking forward to my next visit there.

Villa Piccolo

I went to Fairhope, Al to visit friends and rented the cutest and cleanest Villa. The property owner, Ms. Tessie was so sweet and engaging. The property itself is gorgeous and quaint. There are beautiful flowers and shrubs all over. It was quiet and relaxing. I will most certainly stay here on my next visit to Fairhope and would recommend this place to anyway looking for a nice and quiet spot to exhale and just relax. It is close enough to anything you may need yet far enough away from city distractions. This is my new go to place. Would give it ten stars if I could.

Tracy and her husband were great guests. Sorry she was confused about the listing; it is clearly stated on the listing that Villa Piccolo has 1 queen-size bed in a bedroom/sitting room; along with many other amenities. I would never intentionally deceive a guest about such an important issue, and have never had a guest question what is provided, as evidenced by many prior positive reviews.

A taste Tuscany!

Loved It!

Our stay at Villa Piccolo was wonderful. Our cottage was spotless, charming and had every thing we needed. Our host Tess immediately welcomed us and made us feel comfortable and at home. The location was perfect for us. We were within 10 to 20 mins from every venue in Baldwin County that we wanted to visit. Yet we were in this beautiful, peaceful farming community with Tess ' alluring Villa being right in the mix of it all. You cannot step outside without wanting to spend some time in her beautiful courtyard. The sunrises over the vast peanut field behind our villa and the sunsets beyond the house over the farmland were magnificent. Tess, was born and raised here and she was eager & willing to share her knowledge of the area. Anyone can tell that she has put love and passion into her little slice of heaven. Stay here and not only will you enjoy the accommodations, but you will fall in love with Tess.
