About this property

Historic thatched house from 1750 in Husby

In this beautiful thatched house from 1750 you can experience a perfect blend of history and modern comfort. Once the village post office, the house has retained its unique character over the centuries and now offers a charming sanctuary on the west coast of Denmark.

The well-equipped kitchen is the heart of the house and flows naturally into the living and dining area. The two bedrooms are bright and comfortable, and the bathroom has both a shower and bathtub. Underfloor heating in all rooms ensures a comfortable temperature all year round.

Outside, several lovely terraces await with both morning and evening sun. An orchard, a fire pit and a children's area with swings and a sandpit create a perfect environment for relaxation and play.

Husby Klitplantage is just around the corner with good hiking trails leading to Græm beach. The area is part of Geopark Vest-Jylland and offers unique nature experiences. Visit the award-winning VW & Retro Museum in Ulfborg or explore the historic ashlar churches in the area. The 5-hectare property has two houses in the courtyard and the owners can. use one house while you have the other house to yourselves.

A charming house full of character, with a very personal interior featuring plenty of art, vintage pieces, and Danish classics. You won’t find any Ikea here (the duvet cover doesn’t count). The house is surrounded by four wooden decks and a huge garden, so you’re sure to find a sunny spot. The house is located in a small village, just a short walk from Klitplantage and the dune area behind it.
