About this property

Architectural retreat on North Zealand's coast

Welcome to a modern retreat where architecture meets nature on the coast of North Zealand. Here, Mikkel and Jenny have created a home with warm materials and beautiful architecture that invites contemplation and tranquility. The living room forms the heart of the house and creates a unique connection between indoors and outdoors.

The interior of the house is characterized by thoughtful design and natural materials that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The living room serves as a gathering place and connects the indoor spaces with the garden and nature outside.

Outside, the garden invites you to relax and enjoy outdoor activities. Here you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and let the days flow with the rhythm of nature.

In the surrounding area, you will find forests, a beach park, and the Nordkyststien trail, which winds along the coast from Helsingør to Gilleleje. Within walking distance is Munkeruphus (art gallery, café, and greenhouse), where you can enjoy brunch, coffee, and small delicacies with a view of the Kattegat, and Fyrkroen, which is perfect for a good dinner in historic surroundings with a sea view. Sørens Café and Tegners Museum are also great places to visit if you want to explore the area a little more. It's easy to slow down here – and hard not to linger.
