Extremely rare opportunity for intimate time at the lake. The only truly shoreside sleeping arrangements on Lake Skiatook, this unit is in one of only two cottages that are actually placed on the shore of the lake. Secluded and very private, but still just a quick walk to the amazing Cross Timbers Marina, restaurant and fishing. After a long sporting day come back to the quiet lapping waves of the lake onto the shore. Enjoy the barbeque grill and the privacy of this 1 BR unit. A spacious unit with a full refrigerator with freezer, full stove and oven, coffeemaker, and microwave as well as a stacked washer and dryer. Sleeps honeymooners on a queen bed and has a loft with two full sized futons (loft is not designed for adults). Together with another full futon serving as a sofa in the living room, the unit sleeps 5 extremely comfortably with up to 8 accommodated when 2 sleep in each futon. Enjoy the semi-private deck with the best of all views of the lake. For larger parties, combine with neighboring units.

Could use some updates

The listing says it’s the honeymooner but it’s now the foxden so it was a little difficult to find. It also says that no pets are allowed. We got there and had to put a blanket on the couch because of the amount of dog hair and even had to go get medicine for our allergies. Tried texting a few times to maybe get a vacuum for the hair but no response. I’ve stayed here once a year but never this cabin. Besides this the stay was decent. Could use some updates.

Nice little cottage

Great Lake property!

Overall, we had a wonderful time staying at this cabin and being at Skiatook Lake. The property could have been cleaner, such as decks being wiped for cobwebs, stove being wiped off, floors swept, spraying for wasps (nests on back porch area). These were minor details that did not impact our stay greatly, and we would definitely go back to the property again. Beautiful views of the lake and you can walk right down to the water. They also do provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in addition to linens which was great! Overall, I would highly recommend!
