This is a spectacular property, well designed and on a perfect mountain top location with beautiful views. The home is perfect for our fall getaway being very quiet and near excellent restaurants. The home is always immaculate and the communication with the owner is always at the highest level.

Incredible family ski vacation!
This was the second winter we have stayed at the same home - and it was an wonderful this time as we remembered last year being! Very relaxing home with an incredible fireplace and not missing a thing to support grilling or kitchen cooking and dining - making for a great family vacation spot from which to head off to a variety of alpine ski spotsmx-country or snow-shoeing spots in the area. Our kids (7 & 9 year old boys) are already planning a return trip next year!
Views Views Views…You see NH and VT mountains…this lot is at the peak of Quechee. The views are priceless! We enjoyed every view…the sunk in room in front of the beautiful fireplace needs to be raised up…that the style of the 70s maybe early 80s…but the place is awesome and when it was built must have been the crown jewel of Quechee. The art painting on the walls are interesting. We enjoyed our visit and would love to go back again.
The changes in weather made for wonderful views from the balcony that looks both to the East (into New Hampshire) and to the West (the beginning of Vermont's Green Mountains. Jake's store in Quechee is sufficient for most supplies, but it's an easy trip to Hanover or to Woodstock (closer) for more in-depth shopping. The Quechee Corporation offers daily use of facilities to Renters for a modest fee. We hiked in the neighborhood (many trails nearby), but also further away (New Hampshire). It was our third August in the house and as in years past deeply regenerative. We shall return!
I had the pleasure of staying at the Laibsons’ house mid-week (three nights per week) from January through the end of April, and loved my stay.
The house is at the top of a ridge with beautiful,
long and almost 360 degree views in every direction.
The layout of the house is very interesting with four levels. The highlight is the main area on the second floor with a very high ceiling and fireplace. Next to it there is a lovely porch overlooking a mountain range. At the top is an art room with a desk if you need a quiet spot to work. There are in fact lots of places to sit and relax or work.
The Laibsons were very accommodating and helpful whenever I needed anything, including places to cross-country ski or what button to press on the coffee maker to get the coffee now.
Another big plus for me was being able to go to the Quechee Club as a guest for a modest daily fee. It has a full weight room, bicycles, a rowing machine, and a large pool.
Quechee is an attractive upscale town too.
My stay was perfect and I plan to rent the house for several months again.
In short, highly recommended!
We enjoyed ourselves tremendously at the vacation home. The view is as advertised, and the only noises we heard were birds and rustling leaves. The layout is excellent for a summer visit, with bedrooms in coolest parts of the house and the kitchen next to the extended balcony; we dined on the balcony most nights. All appliances and fixtures (including wi-fi) worked well. We appreciated the property’s proximity to Quechee, Woodstock, and many other local attractions. Prior to our arrival we had one issue due to US Mail, but the owner worked with us to resolve everything by the time we arrived. We’ve selected good VRBO properties in the past, but this one was a topper.
The house was perfect for our annual reading and hiking sabbatical. The house is quiet, beautifully appointed, squeaky clean and well designed. Communications with the owner host were pleasant and timely. There were no issues during our lengthy stay. I highly recommend this property based on its location, condition and overall environment.
The house was very large and comfortable. The views were outstanding. It is away from everybody yet close enough to the fun things to do. A very quiet neighbotrhood when we were there. The only issue I might have is the amount of counter space in the kitchen. It was fine to prepare breakfast, but a bigger meal would be quite difficult. The appliances are good, but very little counter space.
Our month-long stay in this beautiful home afforded us wonderful views toward the Green Mountains in the West and the White Mountains in the East. The deck places you in the optimal spot for viewing the landscape. Inside, the houses is very charming And well-equipped. We stayed for a month and plan to return! It is the loveliest vacation rental we have ever had.
We have stayed in a lot of houses and cottages over the past decade. This is probably the best designed and furnished of any of them. There are excellent views of mountains both east and west, from floor to ceiling windows on both sides plus a comfortable deck (and an artist's studio in an upper room with windows on three sides). The living area is exceptionally comfortable. Totally private and quiet.
Only a few miles from Quechee Gorge, easy access to supermarkets in Lebanon NH, nice walking on the Northern Rail Trail. The only minor glitch is that the internet connection was pretty slow -- fine for watching Netflix on a computer, but slow for browsing and (a mixed blessing) not quite good enough for some Zoom connections.
Overall, a super place. We would love to return.
This is our second stay at the house and we can’t wait to return. The views are breathtaking, location ideal for hiking, biking and trips to Woodstock and Hanover, NH. Lots of space including a deck with Mountain Views in 2 directions. Just perfect.
This mountaintop home has 180 degree views! Gorgeous sunsets and vistas to be enjoyed. We spent a week during the pandemic in February. Our grown kids and grandkids were in their own homes nearby. We’d all meet at the base of the ski area and spend 4-5 hours sledding, skiing, cross country skiing, ice skating ( on a large outdoor rink), and warming ourselves by the fire pit. It was the perfect multi-generational outing in difficult times. With new snowfall every other day the conditions were perfect for a winter getaway.
The home is a fascinating 3+ story home built in a modern style. The two bedrooms are on the entry level, main living area/kitchen on next level, and a loft and artist studio above. The only thing to be aware of is, because of the stairs, it is not a good home for handicapped people.
The owners were delightful to deal with and responded to every question or concern promptly.
Our Rocky Top stay was just the ticket - a change of pace and place to get a little vacation feel while still isolating here in VT.
Our communication with the owners was super easy, the place was neat as a pin, and we enjoyed exploring every cozy seating area in the house - the dining table to watch the ever changing clouds over the valley, the sun porch for the sunsets, the side table for games, the loft for morning reading, and the "eagle's nest" for afternoon contemplation. It was wonderful!
Everything was wonderful. The best is the view for miles on not one but both front and back!
We counted NINE wonderful gathering/sitting spaces - this home is meant for relaxing, made it harder to get out for all the many treats of hiking biking kayaking and exploring. (We managed).
Breathtaking views and ample space were the highlights of this idyllic Vermont retreat. Don’t change a thing.
