Here you will find a peaceful retreat surrounded by magnificent nature. The cabin is so remote that you feel alone in the mountains, perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. Whatever the season, the surroundings offer unforgettable experiences. It is about a 300-meter walk from the parking lot to the cabin, but a small lift is available to transport luggage, making the walk easier. The path down to the cabin is marked with reflectors. Follow the main road past the first cabin, then follow the marked path to the cabin.
Inside the cabin, you can gather around the warmth of the stove while the snowstorm rages outside. There is room for the whole family, and the interior invites you to relax with a good game or a cup of hot cocoa.
Summer water is supplied from the river, and on hot days you can enjoy the wood-fired hot tub. The river and bathing pool are close by, and the grounds offer plenty of space for outdoor activities and campfires.
Please note that there is no running water in the cabin in winter. You will either have to melt snow for drinking water or bring your own water containers.
The area offers fantastic hiking opportunities all year round. In winter, you can strap on your skis right outside the door, while in summer you can go on trips to Vettisfossen, 1000-meteren and Hurrungane. Turtagrø, the outdoor swimming pool in Øvre Årdal and Eidsbugarden are within easy reach.
