The cottage is situated on a large, open, undulating natural lot. At the back of the lot is a cluster of fir trees that invite play and hide-and-seek. The lot is covered with marram grass, other grasses, and green shrubs.
The cottage is decorated in a cozy, personal, and Nordic style, and the living room and kitchen are open-concept. The space is bright and open, exuding a cozy summer house vibe. There is a small, newly renovated, and well-equipped kitchen with a fridge and freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. Adjacent to the kitchen is a comfortable dining area for six people. If guests happen to drop by, you can easily set the table for more.
The three actual bedrooms are decorated in different colors and styles—there’s a children’s room with a bunk bed, a cozy bedroom with a single bed that pulls out into a double, and the large master bedroom with a double bed and ample closet space. The new hardwood floors in all the rooms create a warm, cozy cottage atmosphere. The bathroom has also been recently renovated with underfloor heating and a shower, and the warm, pink tones from the kitchen carry over here, creating a cohesive look.
During the warmer months, you can enjoy your coffee and the view of the garden in the small sunroom. Here, the large windows bring nature inside, and the space is furnished with bamboo chairs and rugs. The first spring sunshine is absolutely perfect to experience here. Adjacent to the sunroom is a small room that can be used in the summer.
In front of the cottage is a small, fenced-in patio with tiles and green plants. Here you can watch the sunrise and enjoy the sweeping view across Ringkøbing Fjord. There’s quite a bit of traffic on this side of the house, so you’ll never get bored here. When it’s time for some peace and quiet, you can move to the large, cozy patio area behind the house. Here, you can barbecue, sunbathe, and come up with games for children and the young at heart. There is a small area on the property with a lawn where you can play croquet, ball games, or pole tennis. For the little ones, there is also a swing set and a sandbox where time can stand still and play can continue for hours.
The cottage is located in a small cluster with three other cottages, so you’re free from prying eyes and can enjoy each other’s company. And if you need a breath of fresh air, you can take a trip to the North Sea, which is just under 1,100 meters from the cottage.
