When you need a break from everyday life, this mountain cabin offers peace and quiet at an altitude of 1,000 meters. Here, old mountain farmland meets modern comfort, with a perfect blend of tradition and new construction. In winter, you park 300 meters away and walk the short distance to the cabin—a charming start to your mountain stay.



The cabin consists of two parts that complement each other. In the new part, you have high ceilings, a spacious living room and dining room with a built-in fireplace in an impressive stone pipe that stretches from floor to ceiling. Oak floors and slate give a warm and natural feel.



Outside, you are in the heart of a beautiful old mountain landscape. A stream runs right by the cabin where you can swim on hot summer days. Snow-covered mountain terrain surrounds the property and provides immediate access to nature experiences.



For active days, you have countless possibilities. Go on summit hikes to Harahorn, Kvitingatn, or Ranastongi at an altitude of 1,900 meters. Solheisen is right next to the cabin for downhill skiing, or drive 15 minutes to a larger ski center. In winter, the area is perfect for randonee, while in summer you can cycle down to Hydalen or go cross-country skiing at Vavatn.
