At an altitude of 1030 meters, with majestic views of Reineskarvet and Lauvdalsbrea, an authentic log cabin awaits you. As one of the first cabins in the area, built in 1995, it represents authentic Norwegian building style and tradition.
The hand-built Hallingstuen offers an open floor plan with high ceilings and characteristic log walls. With three bedrooms and a loft with space for three mattresses, as well as an extra sleeping space in the living room, there is plenty of room for the whole group. The fireplace and wood-burning stove create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The cabin is surrounded by unspoiled nature and offers a perfect base for outdoor activities all year round. In winter, you have direct access to an extensive network of trails, while the summer season offers a network of hiking trails through lush forests and up into the mountains.
From this location, it is easy to explore the area's many attractions. Ål ski center is only 12 minutes away, while Geilo and Hemsedal can be reached in 45 minutes and an hour, respectively. In Ål town center, 23 minutes away, you will find climbing parks, restaurants, and all necessary amenities.
