Welcome to Skarvhytta, a modern mountain cabin where design meets nature in beautiful harmony. With large windows that invite the landscape in, you can comfortably enjoy nature in any weather. The cabin is strategically located to capture the most impressive views of the Norwegian mountain ranges.



The interior of the Skarv cabin is both stylish and practical. With two toilets and a spacious kitchen, this is the perfect place to stay for up to 10 people. The living room is inviting with its large windows and comfortable furnishings, while the two terraces offer a perfect outdoor living space all year round.



The cabin's outdoor area is an outdoor enthusiast's dream. With both a wood-fired hot tub and a fire pit/grill, it's set up for relaxing evenings under the stars. Children will love the spacious garden, which invites them to play and have fun.



The area around the cabin is an eldorado for activity-loving visitors. From easy access to local peaks such as 'Varden', to a range of hiking opportunities, ski areas and golf courses, there's something for everyone. The nearest alpine centers include Ål, Geilo and Hemsedal, all within a short driving distance.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. Location was stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery and offering the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy nature. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the host was excellent throughout including a whole list of recommendations for the local area. Highly recommend this cabin!

Stunning, just stunning. It’s even more magnificen...

Stunning, just stunning. It’s even more magnificent than the pictures. A peaceful, tranquil setting high in the mountains is the perfect spot to take in the grand beauty of the mountains. You’re a 20 min drive into town along country lanes, and Ål has all you could need. There’s a cute cinema too. Inside, you’re treated to space and nature all at once. The kitchen and bathroom are perfect and that living space is just fabulous. Dine at the generous table before heading out to the hot tub for the sunset. Just wow. The bed is super comfortable - and if you’re from a city like me, you’ll appreciate the true dark and silence of Norwegian nights. The only sound is the gentle pottering of the friendly sheep. All in all, we loved Jacob’s place. We wanted to stay forever. Jacob provided all the information you could need and I’m sure you will find your slice of heaven here.
