Close to Kennebunkport for great restaurants and shopping. Near the Cape Arundel Golf Course where the presidents play. Experience some of the best mountain and road biking in Southern Maine. My Great Grandfather Herbert Allen built the North House in 1898. His father Frank Allen built South House in 1900. Father and son were partners in the Oriental Tea Company out of Boston. The large brass kettle in Government Center Plaza in front of the Starbucks was originally hanging in front of the Oriental Tea Company on India Street.

Cape Porpoise is a classic Vacationland location. Houses are spread out and private. There are no hotels or multi-unit buildings nearby. Located in a gentrified fishing community with access to boating, golfing, cycling fit for a president

What makes this property unique

The house is part of an estate built over 125 years ago. Property includes a twin house, barn, kiosk and tennis court. Located on a private drive but close enough to some of the best restaurants in Maine
