Winter offers cross-country skiing, alpine skiing and snowboarding, but you can also choose to stay inside in front of the fireplace and enjoy the view of the beautiful and undisturbed winter landscape with mountains and forests covered in snow. Summer offers opportunities for fishing trips, mountain bike action or long and short mountain hikes. All this adds up to an authentic Norwegian cabin experience, whatever the season.



The cabin is warm and cozy, and is undisturbed, despite the neighbors. The only thing that occasionally breaks the silence is the King of the Forest, the moose, who likes to stop by to say hello. The heart of the house is the open-plan living room and kitchen, overlooking the picturesque landscape and the 'Torchman', on the other side of the valley.



If you really want to enjoy uninterrupted views, you can watch the sunset over the mountains from the cabin's terrace, which wraps around the house. In winter, you might even be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights in the night sky.



In winter, Hafjell is transformed into one of the country's best ski areas, which not only has ski slopes close to the cabin, but where you can also go snowboarding and downhill skiing. When you get home, there's plenty of room for your ski equipment in the purpose-built wardrobe, and if you need to warm up after your trip, you can light a fire in the large open fireplace and curl up on the sofa with a good book and a drink.



Ski in / ski out: It's about a 5-minute walk to the cross-country ski trails and a 10-minute walk to the nearest slalom access trail.
