Wine estate villa between Rome and Umbria

This villa welcomes you with the warmth of traditional Italian architecture, enhanced by modern comforts including underfloor cooling throughout. The spacious kitchen features a cooking island, dishwasher, two large refrigerators, two ovens and a separate wine fridge – everything you need for culinary adventures.



The generous living room centres around a fireplace and comfortable seating area, perfect for relaxing evenings. Both kitchen and living room open onto terraces and porticos. Four tastefully decorated bedrooms sleep eight guests, with two featuring en-suite bathrooms and the other two sharing a large bathroom. A guest WC and utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer complete the ground floor.



The stunning 6.5 by 13-metre pool is the centrepiece of your outdoor space. One side features shallow steps for lounging, whilst the other is deeper for swimming. A shaded portico houses an outdoor kitchen with dishwasher and large fridge, plus a dining table overlooking the Tiber Valley and Sabina region. The pool terrace offers sunbeds, outdoor showers and a guest WC.



Rome, Orvieto, Narni, Viterbo and Rieti are all within 50–60 km. The Sabina-Umbria region is renowned for excellent dining and wine tasting. Hiking, horse riding and cycling are readily available nearby. Yoga, massage and wine tastings can be arranged upon request.

In August 2026, we spent ten wonderful days with our children at TENUTA SALIANO in the LA QUERCIA house and enjoyed every moment! Myrthe and Cees are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts, and the entire estate is simply gorgeous. LA QUERCIA is beautifully designed, very comfortable, and furnished with great attention to detail. Our absolute highlight was the fantastic pool area with its outdoor kitchen and stunning views—our children were especially thrilled. The beautiful outdoor spaces and Cees’s wonderful wines also made for a perfect vacation experience. Tenuta Saliano is a truly special place that you’ll never want to leave. We had a fantastic family vacation, would come back anytime, and can wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful place!

Our family had a truly wonderful and memorable vacation at the La Quercia villa in Tenuta Saliano, which offers a perfect blend of luxury, tranquility, nature, and Italian charm. The house, the grounds, and the pool all exceeded our expectations. The house is modern and beautifully decorated, and the overall atmosphere is both stylish and cozy. The house is also very clean and well-equipped, as is the separate kitchen in the pool area. The pool area also had a ping-pong table and other games, which we enjoyed playing almost every evening. The location is fantastic: a peaceful, lush setting with postcard-perfect scenery. The hosts were truly friendly and helpful, and communication was smooth. We can also warmly recommend a separate wine-tasting tour at the Tenuta Saliano winery.
