Villa Elena, terrace with stunning views of Ischia, Gulf of Naples and Vesuvius

Villa Elena is a charming home in Anacapri.
It stands out for its view—stretching from Ischia to Vesuvius and all the way to the Sorrento Peninsula—and for its tranquility!
The interiors are simple yet functional and comfortable (e.g., air conditioning), while the exterior is elegant in typical Capri style, featuring exposed stone and white columns supporting the thatched roof of the splendid terrace overlooking the Gulf of Naples.
Villa Elena also has a swimming pool (June 15–September 15).

The Layout
Villa Elena is a villa with breathtaking views spread over two levels.
It is accessed from the street and has a private parking space for a small car.
On the upper level are the living room, the kitchenette, and the wonderful terrace, which also includes a patio with a dining table.
On the lower level are:
1. the bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds). The bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.
2. bathrooms with showers.
Villa Elena features a beautiful garden and a swimming pool that is open from June 15 to September 15; it measures 4.12 x 2.01 metres and is 1.10 metres deep.


Guest Access
The villa, outdoor areas, garden, and swimming pool are for the exclusive use of guests.

To reach Villa Elena in Anacapri from the port, even though it’s more expensive, we recommend taking a taxi to avoid having to take the funicular and more than one bus, which would leave you about 400 metres from Villa Elena anyway.
PLEASE NOTE: The roads on the island of Capri are narrow, and not all taxis can reach Villa Elena. We recommend specifying that you need a taxi capable of navigating even the narrowest streets.
For those travelling by car, please note that vehicles cannot be taken onto the island of Capri. Therefore, we can provide directions to a secure car park in Naples that we “recommend,” which also offers a shuttle service from the car park to the port and back.

Location

Area Description
Villa Elena is located in a quiet area accessible from the road leading to the Blue Grotto.
Getting Around
Villa Elena is about 400 metres from the main road, where you can take either the bus or a taxi (the latter by calling for one, €€€).
The bus system on the island is convenient, and you can reach all the major attractions, from which you can then explore on foot.
In Anacapri, you can explore the town centre on foot and take the bus to the lighthouse or the Blue Grotto.
In Capri, you can walk around the town centre and to all the attractions (Tragara, Faraglioni, Villa Iovis, etc.) as well as to Marina Grande and Marina Piccola, which you can also reach by bus.
I like to walk to the village of Anacapri (it’s about one kilometre away)—it’s uphill on the way there, but downhill on the way back... which is better when you’re carrying grocery bags😉
The house has a private parking space: you can rent a small car (not recommended: €€€€€, parking problems!) or a scooter (€€€).
But you can easily get around on foot (both to the village and to the Blue Grotto) or by bus.
