Enjoy beautiful views from both the exquisite gardens and the elegant accommodation.

Situated in the heart of the idyllic and much photographed village of Stanton, which sits on the Cotswold Way, below the wooded Cotswold Edge, Stanton is home to some of the prettiest Cotswold cottages, a medieval Parish Church, and a much-loved village pub, The Mount Inn, with fabulous far reaching views. The village of Stanton was once owned by King Henry VIII who bequeathed the village to his surviving wife Queen Katherine Parr, and her Manor House still stands, just along the road from Lindisfarne. Just a couple of miles away is beautiful Broadway, often referred to as ' The Jewel of the Cotswolds' and bursting with bespoke boutiques, antiques, fine art, tea shops, pubs and restaurants.

Stanway House and Fountain, around half an hour's stroll along the Cotswold Way, is home to an incredible, gravity fed water fountain that reaches over 300 feet, marking it as the tallest fountain in Britain; Stanway House its self is an awe inspiring Jacobean manor house that is dripping in grandeur and has been lived in by the same family since the 16th century, an excellent example of Cotswolds manor houses.
Visit Broadway with its many pubs and restaurants along with a great delicatessen and Broadway Golf Club, which welcomes visitors is just three miles away.
The small but busy town of Stow-on-the-Wold with a large selection of antique shops, gift shops, art galleries and traditional pubs is perfectly placed for many beautiful countryside walks and is 9 miles away.
Cheltenham, boasting the popular Gold Cup in March is 11 miles away.
Just over half an hour's drive away is the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon; sitting on the River Avon, Stratford is home to an abundance of half-timbered medieval buildings, quaint tea shops and is the famous home of William Shakespeare. Spend the day wandering around Shakespeare's Birthplace, enjoy a performance at the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre, or spend the day at the Butterfly Farm, which is home to hundreds of beautiful butterflies and two handsome lizards!
