This beautiful 70 m2 apartment is very well located in the heart of the historical center of Avignon at the 2nd floor (NO ELEVATOR). No access by car from noon to 2am except taxi. Decorated tastefully, it offers a warm and refined atmosphere.
You have 70 sqm with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 separate toilet, large lounge / dining room of 35 m² with a fully equipped kitchen area.

- Bedroom 3: 2 single beds (high quality bedding).

THE DISTRICT
The location of our apartment allows you to easily walk to different historical and cultural places of the city as well as shops without having to use your car. At the foot of the place of the clock, 2 minutes from the Palais des Papes and the Petit Palais, in the street of the tourist office, our address is ideal to visit our city. not forgetting the famous Pont d'Avignon and many more !!

AVIGNON AND SURROUNDINGS

Stay in Avignon allows you to visit the region that offers many sites to see absolutely: The Alpilles (St Rémy de Pce) are 25 kms, Arles Roman city and the Camargue are 35kms. Luberon and all these picturesque villages (Gordes, Roussillon, Lacoste ...) are between 30 and 40 kms. Marseille is 80 km and its surroundings such as creeks, Cassis and its coves to discover. Montpellier and its large sandy beaches are 1 hour drive.
The TGV station is about 10 minutes from downtown by taxi and The train station "Avignon Centre" is at 800 meters away.

Wonderful stay

The apartment was the perfect location in town. Easy to catch a train for a day trip, in the center of town which made it easy to navigate all around. Apartment is quiet and met our needs.

A perfect month in Avignon

One word. Charming! Both apartment, and our host, Christéle. The apartment was exactly as pictured, decorated with flair, and kept sparkling clean. We were welcomed upon arrival and cared for like family whenever we had questions. The windows are double glazed, so even though we were on the Rue de la République, close to everything, we slept like babes. We wanted to stay another month. We loved it so much, we will be back for a longer stay next year!

Perfect stay, perfect location.

We had a fabulous time in Avignon in part because of our lovely apartment. It was perfectly located in the center of town, but also on the main road so we could get in and out of town easily. The apartment was full of beautiful light and wonderfully appointed. It easily slept 5 adults. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. For pickier folks - The bedrooms are a tad small if you have large suitcases, but we made do. There are stairs, but we were unbothered. We had two 70+ adults with us and they managed. Christele helped us with our suitcases, which we were very grateful for. We chose to park for free in the Park+Ride as opposed to paying for parking in town. We had parked there previously during previous trips to Avignon and liked the morning walk and minimal hassle.

Merveilleux séjour

Appartement extrêmement bien situé, spacieux, confortable et très bien équipé. Nous avions loué une voiture pour explorer les environs et avons apprécié de pouvoir nous garer sans difficulté (hors saison) sur le grand parking des allées de l'oulle. Nous avons également apprécié qu'il y ait tout ce qu'il faut dans l'appartement en termes d'équipements (lave-vaisselle, lave-linge etc) mais aussi d'essentiels tels que tablettes pour le lave-vaisselle, éponge, huile, savon pour les mains etc. Je le précise car c'est rare et toujours pénible de devoir acheter ce genre de choses pour 3 jours. Enfin, Christèle est une hôte adorable, très accueillante et très réactive lors de nos échanges pour préparer notre arrivée ou au cours de notre séjour. De plus, elle nous a permis de laisser nos affaires dans l'appartement jusqu'à l'heure de partir prendre notre train en fin d'après-midi.

Christele, was an amazing host and was great through the entire process. We were in Avignon for a few days for a wedding and although our schedule was a whirlwind filled with activities she was there for us to answer any questions and she was very accommodating! The location is great, right in the center of Avignon and walkable to everything. The apartment was very clean and quiet and we truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Christele for everything. Im Herzen Avignons

Wir (4 Erwachsene) haben unsere Zeit in Avignon und in unserem Stadtdomizil im Herzen der Stadt genossen. Danke, Christèle! Wir kamen erst kurz vor 22 Uhr mit dem Zug in Avignon an, aber Christèle wartete auf uns (sie wohnt in der darüberliegenden Etage), half beim Kofferschleppen in den 2. Stock und erklärte kurz die Wohnung. Diese entspricht den Fotos. In den stilistisch augenzwinkernd eklektizistisch eingerichteten Räumlichkeiten gibt es eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile mit anschließendem Wohnbereich, drei unterschiedlich große Schlafzimmer, ein großes Duschbad und ein separates WC. Wir haben unser helles Refugium geliebt - alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Einkaufsgelegenheiten lagen buchstäblich vor der Tür.

Excellent location, steps from the Palais des Papes

We had a wonderful stay. Christèle gave us all the information we needed and was available and easy to contact during our trip. The property itself is in a very central location, making it easy to get pretty much anywhere in Avignon by foot. The appartment had everything we needed (note there is no electric clothes dryer but there is a washing machine and drying rack for your washed clothes). We had a car and found street parking within a five minute walk to be relatively easy, even in August. Other nearby parking options are available as well. Overall, a great option if you want to be right in the heart of the city.

Decouverte d'Avignon.

Nous tenions à découvrir la ville d'Avignon l'appartement est très très bien placé. Il est très chaleureux (mélange ancien-moderne) un peu sombre car donne sur une petite rue mais l'avantage et que c est très calme. Il ne manque rien dans l'appartement, plein de petites intentions (café gel douche shampoing sucre huile etc.... draps et serviettes de toilettes fournis sans suppléments. Ce que je suggérerait pour l'amélioration du standing de cet appartement serait de supprimer une armoire dans l'entrée (un peu étroit) et remplacer les vieilles tomettes du couloir par du plancher. Merci encore à toute la famille de nous avoir reçus.

Location and character

The owner was waiting to greet us when we arrived. They helped us carry our luggage up the three flights of stairs to a wonderful apartment, with high ceilings and plenty of window light. She drove with me to a private, safe, parking space for our rental, just a short distance from the apartment. The apartment had a well equipped kitchen, with everything we needed to prepare the small meals we shared there. The owner gave us great tips on restaurants, all within walking distance. As an added benefit, there is a restaurant one floor below the apartment ( unfortunately closed during our stay). So much to explore, by foot,nearby. The location is perfect for exploring the old center of Avignon. You will enjoy your stay here.

Perfect location

This lovely apartment is in the most perfect location, close to the heart of the old city, and within easy walking distance to the train and bus station, as well as shops and all kinds of eateries. After our days walking or visiting nearby towns the apartment was the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine! The owners were kind and helpful and arranged a taxi to take us to the TGV station. I would highly recommend this apartment.
