A Suite Among the Vines
On the ground floor of Villa Irene Langhe, where the old schoolhouse once housed its upper-level classrooms, the Panoramic Suite Red now overlooks the vineyards below. Warm terracotta tones reflect the building’s original character, while tall windows frame unobstructed views of the vineyards of Monforte d’Alba and Novello.
Like every room at Villa Irene Langhe, the suite was designed by architect Lara Spano of LATO51 Studioarchitettura, who combined the schoolhouse’s 1950s structure with a curated selection of design furniture, art, and lighting—comfortable, thoughtful, and never generic.

A house among the vines
Villa Irene Langhe sits on the outskirts of Monforte d’Alba, one of the eleven villages of the Barolo DOCG. This is the heart of Barolo country, with La Morra, Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d’Alba, and the village of Barolo itself all just a short drive away, and Alba—Piedmont’s truffle capital—about 20 minutes away.
