Design cabin with mountain views in Hafjell

This cabin is located in Hafjell, with sunshine all day long and views of majestic mountains, deep valleys, and the river below. Here, exceptional attention has been paid to aesthetics, textiles, and comfort, and the result is a cabin for those who want to enjoy beautiful surroundings both indoors and outdoors.



The four-meter-high fireplace is built of dry-stacked slate and old building materials from the 1700s. In the evening, you can watch the sunsets and the lights twinkling in the valley from the large windows. All three bedrooms on the lower level have smart TVs, and the loft offers space for board games and play. The cabin was designed and furnished by Pyntlund Interior, whose projects have been featured in publications such as Jeanne d’Arc Living, Vakre Hjem, and Boligdrøm. With exclusive textiles and a cohesive design, this is a cabin for those who want to enjoy beautiful surroundings—both indoors and outdoors.



The terrace is well-furnished and features an outdoor breakfast area on the sunny side. The cabin offers ski-in/ski-out access to cross-country trails, and to reach the downhill slopes, you’ll need to walk a short distance along the access trail. A large bathtub awaits after your ski trip, and there’s a separate laundry room with its own entrance and closet.



Rakkelhanen Café is within walking distance and is open during holidays and select weekends. The restaurants Gaiastova and Pellestova are nearby, and Lillehammer offers the Maihaugen Museum, Hunderfossen Family Park, and rafting. A beautiful swimming spot in the high mountains is a five-minute drive away.
