About the host

I've made London my home and love sharing the city beyond the usual tourist trail — its hidden corners, the best places to eat, and the spots only locals know. My aim is simple: an authentic, comfortable stay tailored to you. I take pride in being responsive and reliable, so everything runs smoothly from check-in to check-out. I'm reachable in several languages and always happy to help. Thank you for visiting my profile — I look forward to welcoming you.

Why they chose this property
I chose Waterloo/Lambeth because it's one of central London's best-kept secrets — a walkable pocket of Zone 1 that puts you right in the middle of everything while still feeling like a real neighbourhood rather than a tourist strip. Step outside and the London Eye, Westminster, Big Ben and the South Bank are all a short stroll across the river. Yet the street itself is quietly residential, with local cafés, the local Fuller's Hercules pub on the corner, and the Imperial War Museum and leafy Archbishop's Park just minutes away. What I love most is how connected it is. Lambeth North station is right outside the door, so you're a few stops from Waterloo, the West End, the museums of South Kensington and the City. You can spend your day at Tate Modern or Borough Market and be home in ten minutes — no long commutes eating into your trip. It's the kind of base that suits everyone: first-time visitors who want the landmarks on their doorstep, returning travellers who'd rather live like a local, and anyone here for work who values being central but able to switch off at the end of the day. After years here, it's still my favourite corner of the city to come home to.
What makes this property unique
What makes this place special is the combination you rarely find in central London: a genuinely private, self-contained space, in an unbeatable Zone 1 location, looked after personally by your host. It's a bright top-floor space with its own private facilities and lovely natural light throughout the day — a calm, comfortable retreat after a busy day exploring. You get the independence and privacy of your own space, with none of the impersonal feel of a hotel. Because I manage and prepare the space myself, the details are looked after: a thorough clean before every arrival, fresh linen and towels, and a thoughtful welcome guidebook with everything you need. Check-in is simple and flexible with a secure key safe, and I send clear step-by-step arrival directions and a short video in advance, so finding your way in is effortless even late at night. Above all, you have a responsive, reliable host on hand. I'm reachable in several languages and always happy to share local tips — the best places to eat, where the locals go, and how to make the most of the city. It's comfort, privacy and a brilliant location, with a personal touch behind it.
