The house features a large open-plan ground floor, including; a traditional Irish country kitchen, a cosy living room with a stove fireplace, a dining table and area, a downstairs double bedroom, and a separate bathroom with a shower. There are two entrances: one at the back into the country kitchen, and another through the front conservatory, which has its own dining table and seating area, perfect for sunset views of the beach. The wooden beams, stone flooring, and traditional cottage character give the ground floor of this holiday home real charm, and its spacious layout will be attractive to families and groups.
Upstairs, guests can find two bright and spacious twin rooms, and a family bathroom with a shower bath. Upstairs also offers a bonus room… a second living area that offers full views of Derrynane beach and bay. This quiet space provides the perfect opportunity to relax with a book or take in the natural beauty of Derrynane Beach, which is just a short stroll away.
The house has a gated entrance and a front lawn, ideal for summer evenings after a day at the beach or exploring the local area. With its unbeatable location, this South Kerry holiday home is a perfect base for exploring the Ring of Kerry and the Skellig Coast.
The property is just a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk from the small village of Caherdaniel which has a shop, pub and restaurant. There are also several stunning beaches just a short drive from the holiday home, and the colourful, popular tourism village of Sneem is just 30 minutes away. John’s House is situated halfway around the Ring of Kerry route, and is a 1 hour 35 minute (and very scenic and coastal!) drive from Kerry Airport in Farranfore.
