It’s a beautiful, spacious, and charming house. It’s filled with the owner’s own art and pieces by other artists that he’s collected. You’re always discovering something new! It’s so much fun to wander through the house. Even if you’re not necessarily an art lover, it’s still a wonderful place to stay! The garden is lush and completely private. We brought our dog, who managed to get through the green fence, so a long leash is definitely a good idea. Langeland is beautiful. It’s fun to drive around. Following the art route past all the art towers (including one created by the owner, Per Buk) is highly recommended, as it lets you see the entire island. Ristinge Beach and the cliff are worth a visit for a quick swim and to walk the path from the beach up to the cliff—the view is stunning! The island has a friendly, laid-back atmosphere, and it has everything you need. If you’re looking for a day of shopping in a slightly larger city, you can head to Odense, for example. Highly recommended!
