This holiday apartment sits in Krasno, a quiet hamlet in Goriška Brda, the rolling wine region on the Italian border often called Slovenia\'s Tuscany, where vineyards and cherry orchards drape every hill. The best of Brda is within a 10-minute drive: Šmartno, the medieval walled village first recorded in 1317, invites slow wanders through its gate towers, a celebrated meal at Hiša Marica and tastings at the village vinoteka, while the Gonjače lookout tower nearby spirals up to a panorama of the whole region.

The property is close to designated bathing areas along the Soča River, in Ložice and Kanal. These are great places for swimming and relaxing, and both locations also have cafés nearby.

In Dobrovo, also within a 10-minute drive, a Renaissance castle presides over Klet Brda, the region\'s largest wine cellar, where guided tastings pour the Rebula the area is famous for.
