A Nice Mountain Getaway.
This is about as far up into the mountains as a civilized dwellings can be. At the top of a road that is maintained all year round, at the end of the 168. The Lakeshore side of the lake is about as far into the mountains as civilization exists year round. Given its location, the fact that everything worked and was comfortable, even when snowing outside, makes me forget any minor issues I might have noticed in other locations. I used to visit a much more rustic cabin in the area that was only open during the Summer; so, being at Huntington Lake in this condo is a real treat. If you're used to 5 star luxury condos in less remote locations, you may find some things to your disliking here; however, if you enjoy being high up in the mountains and are accustom to what that is usually like, this might blow your mind (in a good way) that it exists up here. I mean, year round hot water, electricity, Roku/cable and decent Internet for the area. That's crazy-bananas cool.

Stairs, stairs, stairs
Lots and lots of stairs but if that isn’t an issue it’s a great view and a wonderful experience. There are 5 levels inside which creates some nice separation and privacy while getting your workout in at the same time. Looking forward to our next visit.

Eagle's Landing Condo #78
The condo was comfortable. The beds were good. There were 5 of us, but the condo would accommodate 8 easily. I was a little confused with respect to towels, sheets, tp and soaps. They were in the entry in a large green trash bag. I thought it odd that the previous guests left their trash. I phoned VACASA the following morning for linens. They delivered another bag while we were skiing. My son thought the bag was the trash as well and took it to the waste bins. After calling Vacasa again, we realized the bag contained the linens and other stuff. Fun story. The condo was great. Good memories, fun time and I would stay there again. The kitchen had everything we needed. The lock box was a little touchy to access. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and would stay there again.

2/10 Terrible

close to china peak but...
While the location, 7 minutes to the slopes is fantastic, we did encounter some issues with this condo. First of all, the central heating is a mess, one bedroom was freezing while other rooms were like a sauna, too hot to be in. There was a vent in the middle of the two bedrooms that would shoot out cold air. We could not regulate a good temperature in the house. We were either cold or dying of heat upstairs or downstairs. Also, while we were there, the shower head in the master bedroom popped off, and the curtain rod in the master bedroom fell on us as we tried to pull open the curtains. The beautiful view other reviews speak of was covered by all the snow on the balconies so we could not enjoy it. Also, the water heater was barely enough for 1 hot shower, where it would turn cold toward the end, and there were 4 of us that needed to shower. We called Vacasa during our stay as there was no way on the website to get in touch with homeowners, only a general email for Vacasa and a phone number, which we called and were told we would receive a call back the following day, we are still waiting for that call back from vacasa!! There were a lot of stairs to get to the front door with all our luggage and in the heavy snow, not too pleasant. Also, could not find a snow scraper in the house, something we had not thought of taking with us. Also, while the condo is advertised as no pets, my husband is allergic to cats, he experienced many, many allergy symptoms in this condo everyday and only had relief when we left in the morning, which led us to believe that pets(cats) were at one time in this condo and maybe it was not disinfected properly. In summary, we would not recommend this condo for the price we paid and the inconveniences we encountered. Also, we are very disappointed with the Vacasa customer service and will use a different company next time.

JUST RIGHT
I have stayed in a few of these condos over the years, this one was a little dated. With that said it had all the things you would need, everything worked well and it was quiet. The inside was clean and well kept, the appliances all worked well, the only draw back was the stairs up to the place (this condo is the highest one on the hill).
