Bungalow on Buckeye - Pet Friendly in West Village

Location, location! Charming cabin in the heart of west village, Shaver Lake. Around the corner from dining and shopping in town or even forgotten groceries. Drive or hike to the lake. 30 minutes to skiing and activities at China Peak. Pet friendly fenced backyard. Wraparound deck for spending pleasant summer afternoons or taking in some Sierra Nevada sun. Full kitchen with dining options inside and out. Living room set up for movies or nights by the cozy fireplace. Escape the valley heat!

We welcome your pets at the Bungalow on Buckeye! A one-time $50 per stay fee will be charged for reservations with pets. Due to a problem with the integration of our property management software, this fee will not appear in the estimate and initial charge for the booking but will be charged separately within 48 hours of making the reservation. You don't have to leave your pets at home on your special mountain vacation!

The cabin was in a perfect location… Easy to walk to all the restaurants and shops downtown Shaver… The cabin was very clean with a really nice deck area to relax on… I would definitely recommend this cabin.

LIVE LOVE LAKE

Great cabin in the heart of Shaver Lake. Walkable to restaurants, stores, and short hike to the lake.VERY CLEAN and had all the conveniences to make our time in Shaver comfortable and memorable. We will definitely book this again.

Cozy Family Getaway!

Clean and comfortable cabin in a great location. This cabin was perfect for our annual Shaver family getaway. Everything in town is walking distance and the neighborhood streets are wonderful to walk and explore. Thank you for your great hospitality! Snow Getaway

We loved the cabin. We had absolutely perfect weather and enjoyed the snow. My dogs had fun trampling around and we were so thankful to find a pet friendly cabin with a fence around the property line. Thank you for welcoming us into your home.

Great experience in the mountains!

Cabin is adorable. Located in nice neighborhood of cabins close to Ken’s and restaurants. Ryan was super helpful when the upstairs heater went out and told us where to find and extension cord to heat the upstairs. Great stay! And my dog loved it!

Cozy cabin in the heart of Shaver

Cute little cabin that is right in the heart of shaver. Stairs in cabin a bit steep if you have small children. Great spot for dogs since has fenced yard. Ryan was great at responding to questions which is so appreciated.

Great stay!

Nice 3 night stay! House is in a nice little neighborhood , good for walking yourself or dogs !! Bring a fan for master bedroom ( no ceiling fan there ) . The house is about 4 houses away from the Burger hut and a few nice eateries . Much more populated than I expected ! The lake was great ! It’s about a 5 min drive ! Would stay again! Ryan the host was awesome !!!!

Adorable cabin. Bug free! This property is at a super location. It is right down the road from Hungry Hut and a block from stores and restaurants. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. Property manager was very accommodating. Only negative was beds were a bit hard even though they had mattress toppers.

This cabin was perfect for us. Very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked to be user friendly and we cooked most meals. Walking distance to just about everything. Restaurants, groceries, entertainment, hiking. Short drive to the lake. Will go again if possible :)

Family vacation

This property was in a great location. Within walking distance to places to eat and shop. It’s great for people with pets as the yard is fully fenced in. My adult children loved that the owner supplied games. There were some old time favorites we had a blast playing. We had a great time and will definitely return to Shaver Lake. Thank you!

Great location and cute cabin!

Such a great location, you can walk to several restaurants! The cabin was cute, a few things that could use renovations but overall a perfect stay! I highly recommend this property, especially if you have pets the whole yard is fenced in. The pups loved running up and down the stairs.

Lovely Little Get Away

This cabin is in the perfect location. Quick walk to everything in town. Nice sized living room with comfy couches. Plenty of space for 5-6 folks. Upstairs has 2 king beds and one double. Two smart TVs, one upstairs and one in the living room. Good assortment of board games too. Fantastic deck for enjoying the outdoors. Really nice gas BBQ too! Host was easy to get a hold of and very communicative. Kitchen has the basics so if you are going to cook, bring extra items and utensils. The one upstairs king bed is super comfy, the others could use a mattress topper. Wifi worked great! Bring your streaming TV logins!
