In the Ligurian hinterland, nestled amid the greenery and silence of the woods, this house was carefully handcrafted with a few intentional imperfections: a corner that isn’t perfectly straight, simple materials, and an authentic character that’s immediately apparent. It’s designed for those seeking tranquility and a slower pace of life.
The interior spaces are simple and welcoming. In the morning, birdsong accompanies your awakening; in the evening, the cool air and starry sky invite you to slow down. From the windows and outdoor areas, you can enjoy the greenery surrounding the house, with spots perfect for spending time outdoors at any time of day.
The woods around the house are home to squirrels, roe deer, and foxes. It’s not uncommon to hear squirrels scurrying across the roof, and with a little luck, you might spot a roe deer crossing the woods in front of the house. The garden has an authentic and unpretentious feel, with pleasant spaces to enjoy freely.
Sassello, a quaint village famous for its amaretti cookies, is 6 km away, with cafes and restaurants where you can stop for a break. Nearby, there are hiking trails in the Deiva Forest, the Beigua Nature Park, and the Giovo Forts.
