Welcome to our cozy Swedish log cabin at Kvarnviks Gård – a peaceful countryside retreat just 2.5 km from the sea and especially well suited for families.

One thing that makes your stay easy from the moment you arrive: bed linen, towels, shower products and final cleaning are all included in the price. No need to bring your own linen, rent towels separately or spend the last morning cleaning the cottage – simply arrive, settle in and enjoy your holiday.

Close to the Sea

The beautiful white sandy beach at Beddingestrand is only around 2.5 km away across the fields.

You can reach the coast by bike in around 10 minutes or enjoy a countryside walk towards the sea, passing an alpaca farm along the way. By car, the route to the beach is approximately 6 km.

Kvarnviks Gård is also a great base for exploring southern Skåne, with coastal villages, beaches, countryside cafés, wineries and scenic cycling and walking routes nearby.

A Cozy Little Log Cabin in the Swedish Countryside

Tucked away in a private and peaceful corner of Kvarnviks Gård, our traditional wooden cottage offers a charming rural atmosphere surrounded by open fields and nature.

The cottage is approximately 25 m² and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Inside you will find a compact living and dining area, a small but well-equipped kitchenette and a private bathroom with shower.

There is also an HDTV with IPTV, offering a selection of Nordic channels as well as some German TV. Chromecast is available too, making it easy to stream your own content during your stay.

The sleeping area has a king-size double bed as well as an additional 90 cm single bed, making the cottage particularly suitable for couples and small families.

High-speed WiFi is included throughout your stay.

Private South-Facing Terrace

Outside, you have your own private south-facing terrace where you can enjoy the sun for most of the day.

Start the morning with coffee outdoors, relax after a day at the beach or enjoy dinner in the evening. The terrace has a table and chairs.

A BBQ is available on request and can be borrowed free of charge during your stay.

Made for Families

Children have plenty of space to play at Kvarnviks Gård.

Our garden playground includes a climbing tower, slide, swings and trampoline. On rainy days, families can use our indoor Activity House, with table tennis, foosball and a cozy children's corner.

This means there is something for the kids to do even when the Swedish summer weather decides to change its mind.

Life at Kvarnviks Gård

Kvarnviks Gård dates back to 1907, when the main house was built. The old stable followed in 1923 and the property still retains much of its original countryside character, including a historic electric mill.

Today we share the farm with our friendly and social cat Lilly and our small flock of chickens. Depending on the season, you may see them around the farm – a particularly popular sight with younger guests.

Despite being part of the farm, the cottage is located in its own quiet corner, giving you privacy while still allowing you to enjoy the atmosphere and facilities of Kvarnviks Gård.
