The ultimate affordable luxury house with the most spectacular views of the evening sunsets as they fall over the Pacific Ocean! Montecristo Estates is an exclusive gated community set apart from the noise and crowds, but accessible to all of the wonderful activities and nightlife in Cabo San Lucas. The resort has miles of private white-sand beaches -- without all the street vendors, cruise ships, and watercraft to spoil the natural beauty of the coastline.

This is the perfect place to pamper yourself and spoil your family. During the Winter and early Spring, you can sit on your private terrace or on the veranda just outside the spectacular Sunset Beach main lobby and watch the whales play as they swim by in the ocean.

Villa has it own private infinity-edge swimming pool, two whirlpool spas (indoor & outdoor), a home theater system, a computer with high speed Internet connection, an outdoor BBQ and dining area, a gourmet kitchen with all utensils, a formal dining room, a living room and family room, and a 42' high def plasma television in the master bedroom!

With full access to all of the activities, babysitting services, pools, spas, bars, restaurants, beaches, and tennis courts on-site at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach (just below the hillside at Montecristo Estates)-- there is plenty to do right at the resort. Spring Break 2021!

One of the best conveniences of staying on this property is that it is part of a resort community and is set up for COVID testing - super convenient for us since we were vacationing with children. The villa was spacious and the views were beautiful! The villa we actually got is not the one pictured here which I’m grateful for because we wanted a larger kitchen. The villas are on a hillside so if you would like run or walk be prepared for elevation climb on way back! But it’s not bad at all! In terms of service, we thought it could have been more responsive. Had to call several times to get through to front desk and the “butler” didn’t introduce himself until we have been there two nights. We asked for late checkout yet the cleaning crew came in early anyways and made it very awkward while we tried to pack up and round up 4 children. That was the biggest complaint we had. Otherwise great place to stay. Oh and the food was just okay - we got room service once and that was enough. Food was a little bland. I would like to suggest offering spices and cooking oil in each villa for families who opt to cook, which we did. (We went to Costco and cooked most of our food). We rented a car and explored far beyond the Cabo resort area which I highly recommend. :-)

Getaway Vacation

The views are fantastic; the villa is lovely and spacious, the personal was excellent; the food was okay. We hired a private chef too, but it could have been better. We also rented a golf car for the time that we were at the villa, didn't used it as much as we thought we were going to. I recommend this villa to a family or a couple 100%

Great Family Vacation

This is an awesome property. We have stayed at other Pueblo Bonito properties in the past, but this is by far our favorite. This property gave us plenty of room. the jacuzzi and pool were a nice addition. Gonzalo, our butler, helped with all of our concerns and arranged for transportation to and from the main Sunset resort, made reservations for us and even arranged for us to get bottled water to the house. We just got home 2 days ago and are already talking about returning next year. Great vacation for a family with college kids, it gave us a chance to reconnect with our young adults.

Everything was great. Have stayed at Pueblo Bonito Sunset but in Hotel part. Absolutely loved having this villa. Had a beautiful view. Saw whales breaching everyday. Pool was heated and hot tub was a bonus. Villa was very spacious. There were 8 (adults) of us. Beds comfy. We had plenty of room. We did All inclusive which I recommend. We were in Villa 135 so we were able to walk to the market which was great and also included in the All inclusive. Shuttles were prompt when we requested. Housekeeping was awesome. Only down was room service. Took hour or longer each time. We loved this place and will definitely stay here again if we come back next year. Thank you Bill!!!!

Beautiful home and amazing views!

Home and views were awesome! Exactly what we booked. Check in was a little frustrating. Had to wait a really long time and then told we had to wait another hour. Had groceries that needed fridge so they moved us to another place. Once we got to the house everything went perfect. We stayed in two nights and grilled and watched the sunset. Also arranged to watch the sea turtles released.

Paradise Found!

This is our second vacation at the Montecristo Villas! Gorgeous accommodations - clean, roomy, and you can't beat the service and beautiful views from your private infinity pool! Huge thank you to the owner, Bill Coghill - responsive and so helpful and our host, Gonzalo - he took care of our every need from helping one of our guests at Sunset Beach to making sure our event on the beach would go off as planned! The unit is perfect for two families to share - two masters and plenty of room for teenage kids to spread out. The food throughout the resort is amazing - although we ventured into town for fishing and a catamaran cruise, there's really no need to leave the comfort of the resort if you don't want to. FYI - since the villas are at the top of the hill, it might take a bit for the shuttle to pick you up so plan accordingly if you have dinner/spa reservations.

Absolutely wonderful family vacation. My wife and I with our 5 kids. Plenty of room to spread out. The pool was perfect. We never wanted to leave the house. Bill was fantastic and helped secure the perfect location leading right up until we left. I would book again and only with Bill. The butler service, the property, everything was as described. We have traveled many places across the Caribbean and this was one of our favorites by far. The pictures do not do the place justice. I'd rent a car from Avis at the airport and drop off at the property if you don't need it for the week. We enjoyed having it to go up and down the hills and also into the marina. Absolutely great location. Unbelievable.

Beautiful Villa in a Peaceful Location

This property is first class in every way. It was easy to book with Bill the owner and everything from that point forward was amazing. The Villa is beautifully appointed with first class furnishings. The pool was my favorite feature...always warm, clear, clean and inviting. The property is a part of a time share and resort community and we were able to take advantage of the all inclusive food., beverage and concierge services. We purchased the Platinum plan which was beyond what we needed as there is almost no way to eat/drink the total amount per person per week unless you plan to drink a lot. The concierge service as it can be difficult to make reservations at the numerous all inclusive restaurants. The restaurants were amazing. Room service was just slightly above average. We loved everything about our stay to include day trips to Cerritos Beach and Todo Sonto. Todo Sonto is my new favorite location in Mexico. I would highly recommend and would rent this Villa again in an instant. Los Cabos and this Villa made my vacation one to remember!

Heaven on earth!

What a fantastic vacation we had at Bill's property. We had a small bump in the beginning but the manner in which is was resolved was more than what we expected. The resort is so beautiful, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the villa we stayed in was simply beyond what we imagined. We went to town only one time in 11 days after we equipped ourselves at Walmart on the way in. I mean really. When you have this beautiful of a place with your own infinity pool, Jacuzzi tub, outdoor grill and a stocked bar and fridge why go anywhere else?! My sweetheart gave me a wonderful pair of new binoculars for Christmas which were simply fantastic for watching whales which were viewable in abundance during our stay. Bill was a great host and we'll stay at his properties again. Thanks much!!

Gorgeous getaway in Cabo

This was my family's first trip to Cabo and I was looking for a quiet place for us to relax after Christmas with access to pools and more activity for our teenage boys. Bill's villa was the perfect solution. This gorgeous 2-story villa has enough space for a family to spread out and relax with views of the Pacific Ocean. Having our own hot tub and infinity pool allowed us to wake up and soak in the sun and water on our own before venturing out in the afternoon. Being connected to the Pueblo Bonito resort gave us access to tons of pools, restaurants/bars, and beaches which was perfect for our boys. There's a systems of shuttles and golf carts that will take you from this villa on the hill to the Sunset Beach resort down the hill or to the other Pueblo Bonito resorts in town - the Rose and Blanco, both of which are on the Sea of Cortez where you can swim and do things like rent wave runners. Bill was wonderful. It was our first trip to Cabo and I had a lot of questions and Bill was very responsive to every inquiry giving me great recommendations for things like drivers to/from the airport. This was the perfect spot for our family vacation. It gave each of us what we craved - quiet at the villa or activity for the boys. The service by the staff at Pueblo Bonito was superior across the board. We had a personal concierge, Raul, who took care of us - helping with a range of things from making taxi and dinner reservations to procuring laundry detergent. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

My family of 8 stayed at villa 35 which had plenty of room. The kitchen is a good size along with plenty of bathrooms to accommodate everyone. The infinity pool was our favorite for views of the ocean while we watched whales down below. The owner Bill is quick to communicate. A few things to consider...you need to call for shuttles when you want to get up/down the mountain from the villa. Some furniture needs to be updated (pull out couch - it sags) and the full beds would be better if they were queen. The kitchen is fully equipped if you chose to dine in.

Amazing 40th Birthday Girls Trip

The house and resort are amazing the pictures do not do it justice. Loved loved the infinity pool. There was plenty room for the 5 of us. Our butler Gonzalo was very attentive. You must do the Spa , best a Spa experience ever!! Only a quick, $18 taxi ride to downtown when you want to get out and about. Can't say enough great things about the house and the resort property. The view is breathtaking , we watched the sun set from the deck almost every evening. Everything was just perfect, I would definitely go back.

What an amazing VRBO experience. The villas was way better in person than in pictures. Absolutely perfect venue for my sisters bachelorette. everything from start (ie, booking) to finish (ie, checking out) was so easy. Bill was so accommodating and easy to work with. the property itself was beautiful! you get the best of both worlds because you get the feel of having a private house to share with your friends, private infinity pool that's amazing and picture-worthy, and still get the perks of being on a resort. the staff arranged taxis and dinner reservations for us, there was a fancy version of a food court within walking distance that was perfect for a quick lunch. the house has everything you need and was so comfortable and clean that it truly felt like a splurge. I would highly recommend this villa to anybody!

Owner Bill Coghill delivered everything he promised! As an executive owner’s guest, we were able to chose our villa’s location & reserve pool chairs in advance, which were huge perks! (This was our 8th stay at Montecristo... I have a family member who owns in February but we could only travel in April so we booked thru VRBO.) We love Montecristo & attached properties... It feels like a second home. The villas are beautiful, the service is superior. From the cleaning service to the security staff to the servers at all of the pools... Everything, as always, was perfect & beyond expectations! Sky Pool’s Alejandro is someone we look forward to seeing year after year! Our concierge, Jovani, was attentive, professional & kind. Great trip! Great owner! Great place! Great VRBO experience!

Stayed in Phase two Villa#111. Have been to Cabo several times and will definitely make reservations at Montecristo Estates in the future when we return. The pool is so relaxing with an incredible view. Have your privacy when you want it but still have access to the resort. Thanks Bill for an awesome vacation. My wife and I have been married for 13 years now and have been enjoying trips down to Mexico since the early 1990's. Now we split our Mexico time between Cabo & Cancun and there is no better luxury for our family that at the Montecristo Estates Houses in Cabo. With 3 bedroom unit the entire family with in-laws fit very comfortably and the Villa has everything you would need right there.
