About this property

Spacious beachfront condo with AC, WiFi, swimming pool!

Nahil is one of the newest buildings in Akumal. Located right on the beach on Half Moon Bay, this spacious condo is on the second floor, with an easy access to the pool and the beach. Built in a contemporary style, Nahil #4 has 2 spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, a nicely appointed open plan living, dining, and kitchen area, and large private terraces. The floor to ceiling windows on the beach side allow fantastic views and lots of light.

Nahil is located towards the northern end of Akumal's Half Moon Bay, close to La Lunita and Que Onda restaurants, and a couple of short blocks from the natural aquarium that is Yalku Lagoon. Akumal is a laid back beach community with ecologically minded locals, and calm bays which are the perfect home to a diversity of tropical marine life and endangered sea turtles. Akumal is just 20mins from the Popular resort towns of Playa del Carmen and Tulum, and just one hour south of Cancun International airport.

Beautiful place to stay. The porch looking into the bay was perfect. The house had everything that you could need. We walked to diner or lunch, everything is close by. Yal-ku is very close and was a nice distraction on a windy day. The bakery on the way to Yal-ku is not to be missed. The staff is always around keeping the place looking great. Very safe

It was well appointed with everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the terrace — it was spacious and had nice lounge furniture. The views were spectacular. There was sargassum seaweed in the area during our stay however it drifted to the right of Nahill. And the little that did come up on the shore was removed by the wonderful maintenance staff. Both the maids and maintenance crew were wonderful and did a great job managing the grounds, the pool, the beach area and the unit. We absolutely loved our stay!

Clean and well cared for. There was a cleaning service every day which was unexpected. The ocean and access to it is perfect. Good snorkeling. We used the agency concierge to rent a golf cart and stock up on groceries. Both were delivered and each with good customer service. You won’t be disappointed!

We had a great stay and would love to rent this condo again one day. The only issues we had -- the pool has a INSANE amount of chlorine that bleached our swimsuits and turned my kids blonde hair green!! The other issues was the construction on the penthouse condo that we were not told about in advance- they sanded the iron and that threw iron chips all over the decl, pool area, in the pool, and on the condo balcony. Seemed dangerous!!

Amazing getaway

Reviewer Comments: We arrived smoothly and quickly via Canada Transport from Cancun to a picture perfect condo over looking calm blue green waters, clean white sand, and gently swaying palm trees. Nahil is nestled in and well protected by natural boundaries so gives you private and easy relaxation as you only have to walk a few steps to the well kept pool and just a few more to lounge on the beach. Unit 4 is very well appointed with all the amenities you want and the owner has a flair for beauty, art, and design! The staff, from check in to housekeeping to maintenance is professional, polite, and very accommodating. All in all Nahil gives you the sense of living in paradise like a local and causes you to plan your next stay even before leaving.

The condo is very well decorated with interesting art work to enjoy. Everything worked fine. The condo. Has everything you need from spices to band aides to really may you feel at home. The balcony has plenty of seating and tables to enjoy the view. Nancy the housekeeper was terrific. Plenty of hot water but you need to wait a few minutes to get hot. This is a 2nd floor unit, there is a elevator or steps. We had a great time and would recommend this unit.

Very professional and very quick to respond.We love Akumal-and this condo set-up was perfect for us. Super quiet and super clean. Everyone we came in contact with from beginning to end was fantastic!The pool however was so chlorinated it felt like you were swimming in bleach. Would rather swim in the ocean anyway-we would have taken a dips in the pool as well but it was too much.We rented a golf cart-which we love to do-but ended up jockeying for use of one plug-in with other cart renters, who for some reason kept unplugging our cart. Not sure what happened there.Overall a fantastic area and we are looking forward to our return trip!

Communication, knowledge and tips on Akumal area were so helpful. The location of this property is the best right at the top of half moon bay. Entry to the waters can be rocky, bring beach shoes. There are parking spaces out front. The pool was gorgeous and plenty of chairs / loungers. The cleaning of the property by the maids was spotless, they did a fantastic job. Staff kept the pool and grounds neat and tidy! Beach towels were provided. Washer & dryer available, kitchen fully equipped. Smart Tv with Netflix and WiFi. Beautiful balcony views. Visit La Buena Vida, Turtle bay cafe and jungle cafe - these are the best local eateries. We had Alex at concierge help us rent golf carts to drive in Akumal, which was fun. I definitely recommend Nahil 4 and booking via Akumal direct was fantastic. It’s best to stay here during sargassum season as it is much less liable to the seaweed issue that arises along the middle of half moon bay.

The condo’s decor has a nice modern touch and a well stocked kitchen. The air conditioning was nice for a better nights sleep. We were surprised to find we had daily housekeeping. Nahil condominiums are on Half Moon Bay, about a 20 minute walk from the main tourist village. There are two restaurants within walking distance. La Lunita has a great menu. We rented a golf cart and that made it very easy to get around, would highly recommend. We brought our own snorkeling gear and water shoes. Lots of tropical fish to see right in front of the condo complex. Akumal Direct was very helpful and available with arranging airport transfers and other excursions. We has a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Akumal Adventure

What an amazing location! Right on the beach with amazing views, pool access and nightly turtle nesting collaborated to make this condo a hotspot for fun. Nearby restaurants and shopping available within the surrounding neighborhood. Our A/C was compromised in Unit #4 when we arrived, and failed the 2nd day which gave us a rough start, however Akumal Properties sent Scott to manage the issue and he was able to secure us a move to unit #6 and salvaged the trip. Many thanks for the help Scott, we appreciate your efforts!

Right on the beach

I booked this place to quarantine in Cancun with my family. It’s perfect!! Very spacious, comfortable(beds, couch and pillows excellent), clean(daily cleaning service), full kitchen, and great location (25 min from Tulum, 30 min from Playa del Carmen). There are some restaurants around, groceries and services. I couldn’t ask for better view, 20 steps from the water! I really loved it!
