Bear Haven 297 our 40th Anniversary
We had a great stay. You definitely want to have a four wheel drive vehicle. There are 72 curves to get to the cabin. Bring your own grill. The one at the cabin is tiny. Hot tub was great! After several hours of non use, you have flip the breaker. The breaker is 6 feet away from hot tub. So it would start reheating. Overall lived up to our expectations.

Great place for a family
We really enjoyed the stay. The only thing that could have been better is that the hot water heater will not fill the tubs. Overall, great place.

Not Enough Hot Water
The cabin had a nice layout and pretty clean. Had a air hockey table and nice balcony. The only problems were the pilot light was out in the fire place. Being from Florida not sure how to light. But it was warm anyways. The hot water heaters are not big enough for the tubs.

Vacation Curves
Good communication with management to respond and answer questions by phone or email. The inside of cabin is very nice and comfortable enough fir our needs. Washer and dishwasher both struggled but dryer did us well after 2 turns. The balcony was the wife’s favorite part. The grounds behind cabin is pretty littered but didn’t necessarily effect us. The worst part about the stay was the drive to and from the cabin. 80 curves in the mountains in 2 miles. How do I know this you ask... my 15 year old with autism counted them. Definitely do not do the shorter way that shows on Google maps from Gatlinburg, no service and dead-end was frustrating but the main route listed from the office is best way. The only view from cabin is trees. Overall it’s a nice cabin and we enjoyed our curves of a vacation once we got use to some things.
